I would take the free money and go all-in every time you get one of the hands below. Then if you go up high enough, play out the remainder normally.

All Pocket Pairs and AK/AQ/AJ and maybe KQ.

Then you won't waste too much time.

I don't get it. Why wouldn't it be worth it and why would you need to take a 'double-up or bust' approach initially? It's free money to play poker. 300 raked hands isn't too much. You could catch a good run right? Or are people saying this because Empire sucks?

while empire is the suckfest, i think people think its worse than it is. there are lots of rocks, but its not like the tag's you see at 200NL, these are rocks who generally don't know what they're doing and would probably be break even or losingo if it weren't for rakeback. Just get really aggressive and I think you can be pretty profitable there.

as far as the 25 bucks, that's a crappy agreement to get it. I haven't played on royal vegas for like 6 months and they just gave me 25 bucks that i needed to play 1 raked hand to clear, and i bet i've played enough to pay them back. Its only worth clearing it if you're going to play at empire for a while.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Party gave me a free $10 a while ago. I did the double up or die approach and died. Then I deposited for a bonus whoring spell and they took that $10 back saying that I didn't meet the requirements of it. So, watch out.

I say use the double up or bust because any time you aren't playing on a fishier site, you are wasting time. But if you can double or triple up quick, it's worth it.

I didn't even read the post. I thought it was the old Empire bonus. I guess 300 hands isn't that much, why not play it.

Not worth it to me, but I'm not playing NL25 anymore...All of this "free money" isn't worth the hassle for me sometimes.
