I signed up at Doyle's Room for the $140, 35% for a $400 Neteller deposit. But since I play .50/1.00 limit I figured it would take a little while to get the 13,500 points. I saw that you get points for just being dealt in the hand, and I play very tight, so I figure as long as I get points just being dealt in it's not that big of a deal. I'm not clearing any other bonuses now anyway.
So I played on one table (the only .50/1.00 limit table going), while I was two tabling .50/1.00 limit party skin where I have a rakeback deal. It's gonna take forever to get 13,500 points. You hardly get any points, if any if you're not in the pot. You do get a few when you do contribute to the pot.
I didn't realize it was this slow. After the hour I played I have 118 points. It's gonna take me over 100 hours to clear this. Maybe I got spoiled clearing the 1400 Party bonus in a weekend. I'll jump on a table there while I'm playing if there is an open one, while I play a couple tables somewhere else, but just a warning it's gonna take forever. Maybe I should put my current number of points and hours in my signature, just for fun if anyone cares.

I play limit 0.5/1.0 at Party Poker also. For that game, Party seems be the best place around (along with Empire and PokerNow) for the ease of clearing bonuses. You only get points if there is a rake (a pot of at least $5), but that happens most hands if you play at a full table.
I've been looking for other sites with a bonus structure that is good for the limit 0.5/1.0 game, but haven't found anything. I may try PokerRoom, however it seems that I will have to play *at least* limit 1.0/2.0 in order to clear the bonus in a reasonable (i.e., Party Poker) length of time.
At Party I clear about 40 points/hour/table... which is ~ $10/hour if you play two tables at a time. Not bad really.

Pokerroom's bonus is very slow as well(compared to PP anyway). I'd put that at the bottom of the list of sites to whore. I was playing .5/$1 NL rings there and probably won't clear it, it's my least favorite layout as well so far(of PP, PS and PR).

Dude, 100 hours to unlock $140 is definitely slow, but compare that to UltimateBet, where I'll be spending nearly the same amount of time to unlock $75!!
No wonder these rooms don't care if you whore them with same day redemption-redeposits. They're guaranteeing themselves 100's hours of your play at their site!

If you play 1/2 or 2/4 there, you can take care of the bonus in no time at all.. ive cleared 10k action points to get my SS2 book in about a week of casual play at 1/2. The games are extremely easy there so you should just look at it as an opportunity to make some easy money with a nice $140 bonus on the side
