How much rake do you think Partypoker and the rest of the rooms makes per day? I thought it was close to 500,000, but I read on pokerninjas that Pacific Poker only makes 100,000 a day. Which is kind of strange since there are so many people playing on at one time...

Well these number sound kind of low since right now for example ps has 12,184 players and 1852 active tables, now I know ps has a max rake of 3 bucks but they don't always get 3 bucks per hand so lets say they average 2 bucks a hand... ok so here is some math you can look at and see if my calculations are right... 1852tbls * $2 = $3704 per hand
there is about 50 to 60 hands dealt in one hour (I’ll use 50) so 50 * $3704 = $185,200 per hour so there is 24 hours in a day 24 * 185,200 = $4,444,800 this sounds high maybe my math is off or something I’m not sure but that's what I got. I'm assuming the number is around a million a day at a big site like pp or ps... Ohh I’m looking into starting an online casino is why I thought to do those calculations before. Please remember though that the number of tables and players at the tables is constantly changing those making that number smaller or bigger depending on the limits players are playing… my final range is from 5mil to 800,000 a day. By the way that's if all the tables were cash games and not tourneys that number includes the tourneys being figured as cash games....

I did that too... But I was thinking average rake is more like 1 dollar.
