First of all I think this forum absolutely rocks, and I would like to ask some of my fellow online pokerites some questions!!
I see many of your posts with these huge goals for 2005. Like 20K for 2005 and what not. THAT is ALOT of cash. I have a few questions for you all that may improve all of us more lowly bottom feeders...
1. Where do you play and what limits?
2. How many tables do you play at once?
3. What percentage of your bankroll do you wager on a given day and how big is that darned thing!
4. How much time do you play in the average week
5. Do you consider yourself passive or aggressive, and tight or loose

Those are good for starters.....Any more advice or questions are welcome!!
I wish I could win everytime!!

1) I play almost exclusively on Party Poker NL100, NL200, & recently some MTT tourneys
2) I play 3-4 tables at once
3) I wager about 5% my bank on any given day
4) I play about 30 hours a week
5) I consider myslef agressive, tight&loose at the same time

I mix it up. I'll play the $100 STT, or even the .02 .04 NL when I'm completely trashed. I find $3/6 limit very comfortable, and profitable, (believe it or not). Ultimately though I have won most of my cash on large tourny's. I have quite a few wins with 600+ players, and dozens of final tables.

Personally I can't see how anybody could not win at least $10 grand in a year if they play more than 3 times a week, and are a good student. Luckily though, I think many don't enjoy reading. Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaa.

If you don't have a goal to win at least 10 g's a year, then you should rethink whether or not you should be playing, unless you don't mind giving away your money.

I never spend more than 10% of my bank on any day, and play probably 25 hours a week lately. To be honest I really don't enjoy playing poker very much, (it's just not that fun). It's kind of like getting a A + on your math test, I just didn't care. I can think of 200 other things I would rather be doing, but considering the profit potential, I force myself to buckle down and treat it like a job. If I had more desire to play, I would probably play 60 hours a week, and try to retire....hahahahahhahahah
