Visa Doesn't work
Cash Transfer seems way too scary
that leaves click2pay, which wasn't working tonight or usemywallet which looks shady as hell..

Please advise.

Does Carbon have a casino?

At this point it all looks like shit to me. So im going to risk it, drop 500 and hope for the best.

I can afford to never see this money again.

Which deposit method did you end up using? And why carbon and not one of the other merge skins listed in the other threads?

After reading two plus two it seemed like carbon and RMP were very close. My friend plays on carbon and I decided whatever the % difference is going to be minor might as well pick something that's familiar. I used western union, scary as shit but worked. In my mind my money is gone. Hopefully i can beat 25nl for a decent clip and move up. Hopefully rakeback came threw as well. If you want details and help a brother out, sign up via my affiliate link, which unlike other people I wont post here but will give out via pm. Also, i don't mind spending some time explaining the whole western union method.

Lucky you. Here's a nice little story that's still developing now....

I too was super uncomfortable depositing $ via Western Union. I've never used it before, and let's just my local WU office isn't the kinda place I'd want to hang out in. The whole process -- the fact that we have to do a person to person money transfer to some random dude on the other side of the earth -- just felt sketchy.

Anyhow I bit the bullet, deposited $ to my Carbon account online, went to WU, blah blah blah. But when I logged in today to see what the status was, the cashier page (under the history tab) said the request was "denied" w/ no further explanation. I have a MTCN confirmation number but no where to enter it. I did not received ANY email from Carbon suggesting it had been declined or that there was any trouble with the deposit so far. Needless to say, I'm very confused & troubled about what is going on. I mean, I know Carbon isn't scamming us or anything, & I know it's a legit business, etc., but this depositing process seems all wrong. Uggh.

I'll keep ya'll posted. Waiting in a long live chat queue at the moment. Nice, eh?

Update: it took about 4 hours of waiting (once I got a hold of Carbon support). Don't know why it was declined, but it's all taken care of now ... thank god!

UMW has parent that's served industry for quite a while. So if you mean shady like neteller and moneybookers, then yes, shady lol. (although it is smaller and for sure susceptable to future issues due to servicing the US market in and of itself)

From what I've heard, Visa's are hit or miss. A friend had credit visa declined and debit visa work. I used a left over gift card on RPM and had no issues.

Glad you got it taken care of Row. Sucks being left in money limbo that way.
NH, WP, GG, TY, Etc..........................

I just recently deposited on Carbon using the usemywallet option. I simply emailed support asking for an invite, and they replied rather quickly. Then setting up the UMW account was rather quick, and the money was there in a few minutes. It was shady, but things went well.

You forgot the part where you paid a vig.

For large amounts of money Western union isn't too bad. 12 dollars for 500.

My credit card company called and gave me the 3rd degree. I guess that they were just trying to protect me. I miss the easy days of just clicking to deposit. Oh well, I'm sure it won't be long till the feds catch on to all of these other sites. I just can't see how using your Visa card isn't raising a bunch of red flags.

I had my Chase Visa declined. Then remembered that my Wells Fargo ATM card had a Visa logo on it and tried that. It went right through, so I assume WF has no probs with online deposits?

Finding that Carbon is fairly decent so far, btw, but I miss Stars.
Sue me if I play too long....

It's one of the most impressive stores I've seen from an online gaming company. It's seriously impressive. There are other promotions from Carbon Poker.
