I randomally posted this in another folder and was looking for any related feedback...

I was reading Fnords notations and thought it would be more useful if I could understand players actual bets so I started with some basic notation

(1) x, x, x, - = opp calls 1BB on preflop, bets 1BB on turn, checks river
- So if I see this opp do this alot, I know opp is passive and loose. If I see another note on them x, 3x, ... somthing on the flop made them bet 3x
- If I see x, -fx... which means they called preflop and folded to a flop 1BB bet, I can safely bet 2xBB against this opp on any check from them to leverage a possible fold

So heres my notation
x = made 1BB bet
2x = made 2BB bet
- = checks
f = folds
cx = calls 1xBB bet
r2x = raises 2xBB bet
(1x) = opp bet 1xBB
(1)r2x = other opp bets 1xBB, this opp raises 2xBB
rr3x = re-raises 3xBB
AI = AI
, = denotes flop, turn, river
[] = denotes hand information. e.g. AJ: x, 3x[1b]. Shows a 3x bet and opp flopped top-pair. AJ: x, -[2b]. Shows opp checks but hit 2nd high pair on board.

If they show their cards, then I will put AJ: in front of the row:
(1) KK: x(2x)rrAI. On preflop: Shows limp, another opp raised 2xBB, this opp went AI. I can probably omit the rr, but its good to key-in fast.

I am trying to note hand history in 1-row and do it quickly. Also on Paradise you can only see about 5 rows of notes before scrolling so I would like to be able to determine play habits on the first 5 notation.

I will also write any obvious leaks in opps strategy. Calls flush draws even when pot odds are against them....

So to make any value from these notations I try and review them together for each opp. If I see:
a) x, -(2x)f and x, 3x
- This opp deserves any 2x bet on flop, if they check
b) x(3x)f
- preflop raising would have a better chance for this opp to fold
c) x, - vs. 3x, - vs. 3x, 5x
- This opp raises good preflop cards, checks when misses, bets when hits.
- so any check on the flop deserves a bet especially if you also see x, -(3x)f

So I drool over these 77: (x)AI and AQ: (x)AI....

Any comments?
