Hello just have to share this with someone. I have an account at 24H poker more by accident than becaus i like it (it was the first site i found when staring inline poker).
I think the site is ok but there are allmost no players so i have not played there for 8-9 month. yesterday i got a mail from them that they have changed the currency to € and that they would have a 200€ freroll tournamant. Well since i had nothing to do i joined it it started with about 300 players and i ended up on 9th place winning 7 €. Now keep in mind im not a particulaly good tournament player.
I thougt 7€ what the hell should i do with this so i played some holdem (limit 0,10/0,25)and before i knew it i was on 16€. i moved to sitngoes and usuallu i place in the money about enough to make a small profit so would not say that i´m any good at it. But here i played 5 sit and goes in a row an placed in the mone every time 3, 1,2,3,3.
I than played a freeroll where it was 200€ granted and there were just 70starters. Sadly i placed on 12 place payout started at 10. after this i was quit tiered but still played a 2€ buy in MTT granted 100€ prize (27 players) and placed right outside the money.
It was a funny evenening.
but there are some thing i don´t get with this site
1 how can they have so many money granted MTT when so few players
2 How can this site survive
well i will not play here more except for free

I play there often. The switch in currency was huge. I was talking with a few guys (about 75% of the players are from Sweden) and they were saying that 24hr wants to become the leading online cardroom among European players. This should attract a lot of new players to that site.

They all know me as a small timer, but that's about to change.

If I'm not mistaken. They are going to have a no download flash interface also. Which could bring in people who own Apple and Linux based computers.
