i was just in a 5.50 sng at pacific poker i was across the table from the button and had checked call the blind had a 10 j off suit before i knew it i was in for 510 blinds was 30 6 hands into the sng the player did have big slick suited and won w/ a pair of kings can anyone tell me how my button got pushed to call this all in im not stuiped and i personally have thousands of hours playing experence, mostly at poker stars and have never had such a thing happen. The big thing is i complained about this in the chat even mention the fact of being possibly hacked and the the player that beat me on that hand lasted just a couple more hands almost like he was trying to get off the table. has anyone ever had such a experence belive me im back to poker stars for sure after this one

Lemme get this straight.

You misclicked and called an AI but are "sure" you didn't and now you think you've been hacked?

Becuase people hack 5.50 SnGs and force people to call AI when they're slight dogs?

...k.

You weren't hacked, your comp may have lagged and registered the click over the call button and not the fold button, it could be human error.

Blame yourself before presenting a huge underground conspiracy of hackers on pacific.

Using a touchpad? I've occasionally gone to move the mouse over to the fold button or whatever and the contact w/the touchpad registered as a click on a whole other button. Ow.

There is almost zero realistic chance that this was a hack.

and welcome to FTR.

I like to look at content.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

DavSimon is an unknown quantity at this point
He can take a joke, which is good....but seriously Bruce that last post was infinitely easier to read and understand. I vote that you adopt that stye from now on.

I am glad that you got the issue resolved, since I like playing at Pacific. I have never had a problem other than one lockup (the whole site)...however I generally ignore the chat anyway.

Hardly anyone knows about the shortcut keys at pacific (eg c = call) and the worst thing is they are still effective when your typing in chat... you vannot even toggle them to off.

as soon as I read this post I knew it would be this - I used to tare my hair out when it randomly automatically raises my rags when I was chatting, it was yonks befor I realised it was the shortcuts and pacific didnt ever refund me, your very lucky

I built my own poker table... Check It Out

here is something that happened to me on Poker Stars...

I use the check boxes alot, especially when playing two tables

well in one window i went to click the "call 10" but wasnt really paying attention to where the action was, well just as i went to click, the guy before me raised alot, (dont remember exact amount but more than 100), and i ended up calling it even though i didnt want to. Just really bad timing on my part. The same thing might have happened to you too.

So now i make sure to see who is doing what before i click a check box.

Seriously, why use the check boxes at all? I play four tables and only ever use one checkbox. (The check/fold button). I don't even auto-post blinds. If you are playing more tables than that, I can see where they might be helpful, but if you refrain from using the boxes and force yourself to actually click the appropriate action you will make better decisions. The split second extra time it takes to actually click the button instead of the box is enough time that you may notice something at the table that will cause you to change your decision, that if you rely heavily on the boxes.

Yep it has happened to me once at Pacific too, but luckily I said once, you got that, once. If it happens twice, I am the dumbass. Chat box at Pacific is horrible anyway, I never even open that piece of crapola.

I don't know what the shortcuts are, but I don't even touch my keyboard at Pacific. Mouse only.
