Yo guys. I know a few of you have voiced thoughts about joining Full tilt poker. Well now is the time. They started today a deposit bonus of 100% max 600. Thats huge.

They release it in 20% increments and how it works is you get 1 point for every dollar in the rake of every hand. For example the rake is 2 dollars for a hand. Everyone at the table gets 2 points. Each point is worth 6 cents with a max of 3 points per hand. And you can get partial points for hands raked under 1 dollar. Also you have 3 whole months to clear it. Thats a damn nice bonus if you ask me since you just need to be dealt cards and need no money in the pot to get credit for the rake.

Ok that might have been explained in a retarded way but go to the site and check it out. Also FTR I recommend starting some kind of affiliate thing there if they have it.

I was there today and the pros are all over. I watched Andy Bloch. Jesus. Juan Juanda or whatever his name his, and Eric Seidel all playing just in the last couple hours. They even talk to most of the people in the chat box.

Empire sent me this today. - ISNT IT FUNNY HOW THEY SAY MAX 100 and then use an example where the bonus is 250 lol. Anyway I emailed them and they said it is in fact just 100 for the max. But 50% match. Ive never seen it that high at empire. Take advantage here guys. 5 raked hands per $1. It doesnt get much better than that. All u starters with the small bank roll here is the best deal and easiest bonus you will probably find. Make sure you confirm it with empire first because sometimes these are only for the person who received the email.

Quote:
"Thank you for being part of EmpirePoker! We hope you are enjoying the fun and excitement EmpirePoker offers.

We would like to remind you that you are entitled to 50% Extra (max $100) on your next deposit.

Do not delay. To claim this Bonus you must make a deposit before SEPTEMBER 11, 2004 23:59 EST using bonus code "MAX100" and play raked hands equal to 5 times the Bonus Amount within 30 days of making the deposit. For example, if you deposit $500 today, you will get $250 in bonus and you will need to play 1250 raked hands before OCTOBER 03, 2004."

Ok and here is the one from party. It is just the 20% reload bonus as usual but only 5 raked hands per $1 again so still pretty phat. Same bonus code as empire. Here is the email.

The only thing that sucks about the Full Tilt bonus is that tournament fees don't count towards getting the bonus money. So a small deposit, while getting a huge bonus, will be hard to get because so few Full Tilt Points will be given per hand.
"Why does this still seem like gambling to you!?"

I put money into Full Tilt on Sat. After playing mostly $.50 / $1 limit, for about 500 hands, I have earned $2.62 of my bonus.

it's a very nice bonus, but it's gonna take a while before it clears.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Sweet merciful crap. Less than $3 cleared after 500 hands?!? I'll never clear even a fraction of that $600 bonus in 3 months. Now I'm debating trying Full Tilt at all....

They say they give fractional points for each raked hand under a buck, but I have serious doubts about that if you are clearing your bonus that slowly. Something doesn't seem to be adding up right here. I'd have expected you to have cleared about triple that amount.

I wanted to try out Full Tilt with or without the bonus. But here is my take on it now that I am in and bonus whoring.

There is a god mix of people, a lot of sharks, and a good amount of fish and not a lot in between. Good notes will do wonders on this site.

I deposited $50, just to get a feel for the play and decide if I want to deposit more. I am still playing, and only down a small amount, but this is going to take a while.

If you deposit $500 they will release your bonus $100 at a time, as mine is, they are releasing it $10 at a time.

You need 10 points to release $10 (I guess you would need 100 points to release $100) and they will give you 1 point for every dollar raked, 3 points per hand, max(with fractions credited as fractions of a dollar are raked)

As I said, I am playing $.50 / $1 limit tables. The pots aren't that big, and I am getting just a few cents raked off of every pot. Without the benefit of Poker Tracker, I don't know exactly how many hands I have played, but after a 3hr session and a 2 table 2 hr session (approx 7 hrs of play total) I'm guessing that is about 500 hands.

As it is, you will have to pay $500 in rake (at least the tables you play at) before you can get your full bonus. I would say that unless you are planning on playing the $4 / $8 table with high pots and high rakes, it's probably not the best place to go.

Also, ever since day 1, I haven't been able to get any hand histories. I e-mailed support today but they have not replied yet.

I also e-mailed support on Friday abut a depositing question. support replied that they have Fwd ed my e-mail to the cashier, but I haven't gotten a reply back from them yet. If I don't have it when I get home, I am going to e-mail them again.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...

Yeah, they do have a little crappy version you can use in the "last hand" area. You can copy and paste those here, but they don't say what cards the opponents had, even on all ins and such. They just say "pair of kings", or whatever their hand ended up being.

Yeah it looks like it. By how they explained it in their email I didnt think it would take so long. Maybe I wont be depositing a full 600 since now I think I would never get it all released.

I cleared a Party bonus yesterday in about 4 hours (500 raked hands) on the 1/2 6max tables.

I read somewhere it averages 16c a hand for fulltilt, $600/$0.16=3750 hands, about 4 days 3 tabling ?

I also noticed yesterday there wasn't many tables going. This worries me more than actually clearing the bonus, I didn't even see short handed tables.

I thought it was 6 cents per $ of raked hand. So at smaller stakes where the average rake per hand is much less than a dollar, it takes FOREVER to clear. 18 cents per hand is only if the hand was raked for
three dollars. I don't do those kind of stakes.

ahhh, that makes it a lot diff, this reminds me of the BS Pacific poker bonus. I signed played all night >1000 hands and clears $10. It takes me the same amount of time to clear a PP/*s/Para/Emp bonus.

I think i'll give Fulltilt a miss, anyone got any info on the Poker Room Bonus ?

Is it easy to clear ?

No doubt it is intentional that you can't clear FT's bonus quickly. It's designed to be anti-"hit and run"....It basically lets you play nearly rake free for 3 months, after which they hope you stick around.

Poker room = 7 points per dollar. 1 point per raked hand if rake is $1, .5 points if rake is 50 cents but less than a buck. I'm guessing zero points for small rakes.

So it's similar to Full Tilt somewhat...you'll clear slow if you're not playing at stakes with at least $10 pots most of the time. However, Full Tilt needs like 17 points per dollar, not 7...so you can clear Poker room about twice as fast as long as you are playing at a decent stake level.

I may try a hit and run there too.

I was suprised when a help person for Royal Vegas told me that the max deposit bonus you can get with them is $40 (40% of 100 max, not $100 max bonus). Bummer, but I suppose they also give you $10 free so it's not a bad deal and it clears quickly.

Toasty if you are looking for another good bonus try www.intertops.com it is just another skin of party poker and empire and you can get the 20% max 100 bonus when you sign up. I'm sure you already know that party skin bonuses are extremely fast and easy to clear. I think they are the best bonuses out there.

I think tyson should add this site to list and become an affiliate. He has the thing about getting double bonuses on empire and party he might as well make it triple.

If you just want to deposit 50 toasty for the 25 bonus let me know ill send you a refer a friend email but if you are getting the full 20% bonus it doesnt matter.

Do you have to go through the same hassle as PP/Empire multi signings ?

I had trouble with www.intertops.com. I installed the software and got an intertops.com account yet couldn't log in. Probably a conflict with the other Party Poker skins......I probably should have gotten my intertops.com account on a different computer/different e-mail.

TruePoker.com is another fairly easy looking bonus to clear at 100 raked hands per $10 with no stated rake requirement. However, the lowest stakes for NLHE is $50 with $1 BB. The action also moves s-l-o-w because of all the animation and graphics...which is cool, but if I wanted that stuff I'd play my X-box and not online poker. The max bonus you can get is $75 off of a $250 deposit. Maybe an easier choice than PokerRoom depending on what stakes you like playing at.

You know thats weird because in the beginning I had problems logging in and I just kept trying it and eventually it worked. Les_worm had problems with it logging him in too and I'm not sure if he ever got it to work now. Once I finally got through once though it has been working pretty good ever since. Sometimes I have to hit retry half a dozen times real quick but it gets me in.

I've been thinking about dropping 600 into full tilt. By my estimates (based on my rake totals at Party's 50¢/$1 tables), it would take me 30,000 hands at 50¢/$1 limit tables. That will take me forever!!!

Maybe I could bump up to the 1/2 games, or play NL exlusively on there.
I've gotten used to pokertracker too, I kinda like following the other players in it. I guess I'll figure out what to do in the next week.
Is that guy still part of the forum??
