Yesterday afternoon, I tried to log into my FT account and received a message that username or password was invalid. So I clicked the get password button, received a new password and tried again. Same thing.
So I send email indicating that I can't log in. As of yet no response.

So I am discussing the problem with the little lady and long story short I opened an account about 6 months ago. She opened an account about 6 years ago using guess who's info. Uh oh, I guess my fault for not looking, I just assumed first account in her name.

I only lost about 650.00, but biggest problem is I guess I won't be able to play on FullTilt. I loved that site. Hopefully they will respond and I can plead stupidity. They can obviously see that we were not using both accounts at the same time.

Anyhow, just make sure your poker account is in proper order. An honest mistake can cost you.

a friend of mine recently had his account locked on stars for having two accounts in his name. all he had to was provide ID etc and stars transferred all the funds from his new account to the old one. and deleted his new account. though stars' support is widely considered to be superior to FTP's.

Possibly they will but it would have been nice if they would have sent an email saying there is a problem. My fault, but at least they could kiss me before they jam it to me.

I suspect that one day our government (US) will turn the poker world upside down by allowing poker sites in the US. Nevermind that would mean our leaders are figuring out how to make money instead of spend it. Anyhow, that would be a good day for US players.

I guess I'll just head over to Stars, review my account and start over.

Stars support is only a bit better than FTP's IMO. Give it some time, don't count that money as lost yet. Just work with them politely, send any documents they want, etc.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Yeah, I will. Not much else I can do at this point. Just glad were talking about 650 instead of 6500 or more. More upset at myself for not paying attn.

i opened a new account at full tilt to get rakeback and played on it for some time before receiving an email saying that they found i had 2 accounts, they suspended/closed the newer one and asked if I wanted my funds transfered to the old account. Which they then did without any issues.. ofcourse i stopped playing there cos i wanted the rakeback :/ ..this was a few years ago though, mayb they are a bit stricter now

Hey thanks for the info. Yeah I haven't received that letter yet. The only thing they have sent me so far is that if I want to talk to them I must send email from an account associated with an active FullTilt account.

I sent them a response as to why this happened, but as of yet I haven't heard back from them.

I played at Stars abit. Seem to be much better players over there.

Also I have read some posts and articles that indicate the bonus and Rackeback equal out Stars vs Tilt. But I just don't see it at the lower levels. Possibly I am missing something.

write to them, deal with them politely, answer their questions, send any necessary documents. Most likely they'll end up closing one account and all money will end up in the other. If the original one didn't have rakeback then you still won't have rakeback. And you won't be keeping any bonus $ you cleared in the second account cos from their perspective this bonus was gained fraudulently.

LOL, FTP has the WORST support in the world atm outside of sites with absolutely no player pool. You will NEVER see that 650$ again. The best you'll get is a e-mail saying send in your ID and shit and then you won't hear back from them for just about ever.

So far Icanhastreebet, you are correct. I sent emails on 4/6 and 4/7 and have received no response. In my case I made an error not paying attention. For 650.00 at least they could type an email. From what I know now I would be very concerned if I had a considerable amount of money in an account at FT. At the very least I would make sure all of my ducks are in a row.

If leaders of the good ole USA would get of their ass do something good for this country these problems would mostly go away.

ok, you would have at least got the automated 'we received your e-mail' response. Did you provide ALL relevant info in op? were there ever $ transfers between these two accounts of yours?

Good morning Daven,

I have received automated response after each email that I have sent.

I have provided all info politely and honestly.

There were never money transfers between accounts.
The accounts were never used at the same time.
The account were never used to cheat or deceive Full Tilt or any player at Full Tilt.
I may be mistaken, but I don't believe any bonus dollars were paid to these accounts.

The last account added had Rackeback, but was not added to get Rackeback. Rackeback was added after account was open via email to FT and Rackeback pros.
