A friend of mine suggested I take a referral from him over to FullTilt. I see in the reviews that people talk about the bonus being very slow to release. My money's in PartyPoker now, but I'm not bankrolled to play the lowest NL ring (NL25) since they stopped letting me play the beginner tables. I hear that FullTilt has good NL10 level tables. I've been playing the $5+$1 SNGs at Party, and I see that FullTilt's are $5 + 0.50, which sounds like a step to the positive also.
So how bad is the bonus-clearing there, particularly if I'm only looking to get a bonus off of $50-$100, but at NL10 or so?
Is there a site that you'd say is better for a NL10-level player?

Very slow, I'd stick to the big two, party or stars

Boss media sites such as casinoDOTnet and Poker Heaven i think thats hat they were called... i started with 200 bucks and they had a 200% reload up to 100 bucks and i cleared the first portion very easily but was too lazy to clear the other part.

its slow, but not THAT bad - and they give you time to clear the bonus - I was able to clear $200 out of $300 and i took a few months off from playing - If you get in there and quad table 10NL, you can clear it in not that long - 1k hands a night and you can clear it in 2 weeks - Honestly, I had more fun clearing the FTP bonus than I did when I tried absolute or sunpoker - But both of those sites have a LOT less traffic and that is a real problem

As far as Stars for clearing a bonus however- That'd be even slower as you don't get a FPP without a $20 pot with most of the low limit NL tables.
Actually if we start at the beginning; Stars offers no deposit/friend referral bonus, anyway. The End.
Personally, I'd suggest waiting for more BR if obtaining bonus is your primary goal. $100 BR puts a squeeze on the only tools you have to obtain the bonus. Having started on FT last month with $175 I've found the bonus VERY easy to clear playing 25NL and have only 2 more units to collect.
TIP: The biggest advantage is the incremental FTP collection, so play as many tables as you can and play tight, the other players are doing the work for you, so look for hi pot avg's of course.
I'm also interested on the end of month FR tourneys so getting 100 FTP/day gains entry into the silver and bronze 10/15k freeroll. This takes only 1 hour playing 8 tables during peak times.
I also hope to be the first kid on my block with nifty FT swag in about 3 months–but enough about me, lets get back to you.
I'm recommending that you wait or come better-armed, mainly because I wish someone had told me to either wait or bring more BR to take advantage of the 100% Bonus.
Either way, the friend referral bonus should clear in less than two weeks playing 10NL and combined SNG's at a casual pace.
I came in short-stakked at Bugsy's without knowing better.
$100 for 20% released at 10 bucks for 100 BBP's...
Imagine clearing that with 1 (one) 20NL table most of the time, 2 if really crowded. I Pulled half back out and told 'em I don't mind forfeiting the bonus-explaining that my bankroll wasn't going to allow me to play at the levels where I was going to be able to take advantage of it anyway.
I take a stab at it now and then when I really get the urge to play one table (sarcasm not really intended), and as of yet don't even have 40 BBP's.
Hope this helps.

Of course I have bad days...
Sometimes I'll go a whole day without quads.
