I withdrew some money using the bank transfer option and got this email a day later:
Status: APPROVED
Your withdrawal has been approved.
Funds transferred electronically should be available in your account
immediately. Bank transfer withdrawals may take up to 10 business
days to be credited to your bank account.
My bank has denied a pokerstars bank transfer a long time ago so I was skeptical about this one working, even though they are sure to use different banks.
My question is: Because it says approved, is this money going to be deposited or has my bank not had the chance to say no yet? Doesn't approved mean that both parties agreed? I hate to have this money frozen for 10 days for nothing....

A new email from FT:
"...we have not had any reports from players stating that their bank has denied their Bank Transfer withdrawals. As such, we do not foresee any difficulties with your withdrawal."
I find this hard to believe since my bank figured out and stopped Pokerstars transfers. But eh...I'll admit this is reassuring.

Your bank stopped a DEPOSIT?? or a withdrawal?? I see the withdrawal to a poker site but in my experience, maybe I'm lucky, banks accept deposits pretty unconditionally when it's electronic. NOw they may HOLD it for a period until cleared. I could be wrong. Let me know, I'm interested.

Wait a second, if your bank hasn't accepted the withdrawal..then where did the money go? Is it travelling between your account and the bank account? I think a similar situation happened to me but I don't think as severe as this. Let us know what happens finally! Thanks!
