Not sure if this is right place to ask but, if I used ftr promotion code when making ftp account and haven't deposited money yet can I still get rakeback somehow? also used links on this site to dl it
I just found out what rakeback was recently and already made an account on like every good poker site so am I screwed out of rakeback forever?

Does that mean that if you have deposited and played you are stuck never able to get rakeback?
I register my Full Tilt account some time ago but have just recently started playing seriously. according to a tracking site, not getting rakeback is costing me a fortune so do i just have to quit FTP and play somewhere else?

Yeah if you already have an account there you can never get rakeback(I contacted support) unless you make another account which is fraud. I would recommend playing at another site personally, after take 2 at least

I think you can email them, and they will see if your account is allowed to get RB, even after you signed up !

Once you linked your account with a promo code your fucked. rakebackpros can only help if you actually went to Full Tilt and downloaded the software with no affiliate link involved. Unfortunately for you, all your RB goes to FTR. Why do you think FTR and all those other sites have those links anyway.

Yeah this really sucks. I feel really cheated by FTR, the website clearly says:
Quote:
|
In order to qualify for this $600 bonus, you MUST use the Full Tilt Referral Code FLOPTURNRIVER when creating your account
|
Which is a complete lie! When I first started playing i knew nothing about rakeback and just believed what the site told me but now I find out they've cheated me out of a lot of money. I've been trying to get a rakeback deal now since I'm playing more often but to no avail so far.
Seems like a real shame that I'm gonna have to quit playing at my favourite site just because I unwittingly made a LIFE-LONG agrrement based on a lie designed to make money off people who dont know better.

what do you think funds the direct sign up freerolls ? Most of the direct sign ups only do so to play in the freerolls and don't actually create much rakeback at a guess. If you found the information about signing up through FTR , you could just have easily found the information about rakeback.

Well i've been at this site on and off along time and never found out really what rakeback was and how to get it till a day ago.
On my full tilt account I actually haven't had to put name/address or any personal info yet i've just played some freerolls could I get away with just making a new one?

Jyms, I already tried that it can't be done no matter what, I contacted fulltilt support even and they said it can never be undone but if they change there policies there players would be first to know

Hi Thank you for applying to have your existing account at Full Tilt retagged to RakeTheRake for Rakeback This is a common question and so we need to be clear about your options. Please read the mail to the end. Firstly if you are a USA player did you know you can still get rakeback at the following rooms? Absolute Poker - $35,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 30% Rakeback - $500 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerAbsolute.html Cake Poker - $20,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 33% Rakeback - $600 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerCake.html UltimateBet Poker - $35,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 30% Rakeback - $1,100 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerUltimate.html DoylesRoom - $10,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 33% Rakeback - $600 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerDoylesRoom.html PokerStars - $7,500 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - Up to 32% Equivalent VIP - $600 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerStars.html PlayersOnly - $30,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 33% Rakeback - $600 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerPlayersOnly.html PowerPoker - $10,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 33% Rakeback - $600 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerPlayersOnly.html Carbon Poker - $20,000 in Exclusive Monthly Promotions - 30% Rakeback - $1,000 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerCarbon.html Minted Poker - $8,000 in Monthly Promotions - 40% Rakeback - $400 Sign Up Bonushttp://www.raketherake.com/PokerMinted.html -------------------------------------------------------------FT have recently informed us that any existing account cannot get rakeback - regardless of whether you have ever played for real money on the original account or not.You simply cannot get rakeback from Full Tilt on that account through an affiliate. If you try to create another FT account, FT?s Fraud Department will find it and close it. This is of course disappointing but there are many other rooms where you can pick up 30-50% through rakeback and our exclusive promotions. These rooms can be found on RakeTheRakehttp://www.raketherake.com/RakebackOffers.htmlor PokerLoyaltyPrograms herehttp://www.pokerloyaltyprograms.com/reward-offers.html -------------------------------------------------------------Of course your friends and family are always welcome to join the FT rakeback program through RakeTheRake at any time but should they use your computer to sign up you should make sure that you uninstall the FT software first, clear cookies and files (See our page for details) and then download from our page. This will give them the best chance of being tracked to us correctly. Got An Existing Account at Another Room?Other rooms are more flexible about retagging existing accounts and you can apply for retagging herehttp://www.raketherake.com/rakeback-existing-account-request.html Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Kind regards RakeTheRake Refer a player to RakeTheRake and earn up to 4% of their rake for lifehttp://www.raketherake.com/Referrals.html Don?t forget to check out our iPoker and Prima/Microgaming offers here www.pokerloyaltyprograms.com

Wow. Even if you haven't deposited?! Hrm. It's been MANY years at least 2004-2006, but I MAY have played with play money way back when. I have no idea. Heh, if THAT disqualifies me from rackback, that's insane. If I can't get rakeback, then I'll just get my $600 bonus and leave. From everything I've gathered, it seems like I'd probably want to stay @ PokerStars even WITH rakeback, but they obviously leave me no choice without it.
I guess I'll find out when the time arrives.
I mean, what is the whole point of this rakeback scheme? Who are they targetting? All the serious, savvy players who want rakeback, they should just give it to them. Casual players could care less either way.

OK one more time. I'll post it here since I am also getting PM's about it. aslectic can follow these same directions. I can tell you it works becasue I have done it.
1)Go on FT and change your address and any other info you can, doesn't matter to what because you will not be using this account ever again after you get the new account with RB
2) get a new email address. This is necassary anyway and you should only have an email for poker sites. Do not use the same one you have used all over the web. People are tracking us through forums and shit and getting into peoples accounts and robbing them blind. ie: enjoyingKandy@yahoo and jshouldrs@charter (changed a little for your protection)
3) click on that link for raketherake above and make a RB account. They are the best RB providers on the net, bar none. After making an account, follow the instructions for FT through them and make a new account with the real information and address you have now, DO NOT USE ANY DUPLICATE INFO, like address, postal code, or email. don't use any fake info on the new account.
4) Do not use a payment processor that you have ever used before. Not ever, they will catch you and you will lose your account. Believe me when I say that they will never take your funds if your caught, just deny knowing any better and tell them you just wanted rakeback and are sorry. I have had the second account know for 2 years, I have never had a problem. My old account has $8 and I don't plan on ever getting it, the $600 bonus and RB was worth way more than $8.
Again, no duplicate info, make the new account have the real info incase they ever ask for ID or information, get a new email for poker (this is a must for any site) and get your RB account first, then delete all the cookies or use a new machine to download FT from raketherake. If you click on the wrong link on another site like you did here you may never get RB on the new site. Follow raketherake's instructions and act like a new account.

selfish bump.
if i was to create a new FT account in a friends name (and have access to their ID if needed), linked to an email under this friends name which i will create, and funded by their online banking account BUT always accessed from my IP address, does this sound alarms in FTP HQ? if so, what about if i still played a bit of low stakes in my current account w/o rakeback and played 50nl with the full roll in my friends account?

you're right. it didnt occur to me that i can only withdraw from the RB account into friends bank account. in light of caddie's troubles with credit card detail privacy protection and the 2+2 threads links he provided, i think i'll stick to stars. thanks for your help.
