I am currently grinding up my new roll and am playing 1/2 LHE 6max.

Got half my roll on stars and the other half at ongame but was thinking of switching the stars funds + a little of my Ongame funds to FTP as Rakeback + bonus >FPPs at this level.

I always hear about how tough FTP is in comparison to my usual euro-sites but figure the $600 bonus and RB should make up for this.

Can any fixed limit players here tell me how soft/tough the 1/2 games are? Ie, does it play like 5/10 at ongame or 2/4 at iPoker etc etc.

Thanks

Even if it is tough (and some say it is - I'm not convinced personally, and no way will it be like 5/10!), the $600 bonus will effectively give you a trial period to give it a shot.

Thanks.

I was just under the impression that even the play money tables are tough there!

I'll give it a go but I don't really expect to see the typical 50/6/0 fish I've been playing recently

Edit: Are you in Putney down by Parsons Green?

Just over the river from it, yes - why do you ask? I cycle through Parsons Green most days on my way to work though.

No, probably not a lot of 50/6 fish, now you mention it But I still maintain the difference in skill levels is much smaller than people say because strong players will always (as far as they can) seek out weak players, thus tending towards equilibrium.

Just ask as I've got some family down your way, infact I have family everywhere in London.

Do you ever play live? I fancy getting to a casino / cardroom next time I'm in London but imagine it could be a bit risky if you go to the wrong place!

The Full Tilt $1/2 6-max LHE games aren't that tough. Slightly harder than $2/4 at iPoker and $5/10 at Ongame.
