With FT's change in the format after the surge in traffic post-port-act it looks to me like it's worth it to veer off the path of the monthly free-rolls.
It's not like the old days (2 months ago), where u could just keep a seat warm and coast into a payout position 10 minutes after break in the Gold.
There's twice as many players in that level this month. Iron is still attractive for now at only 530 entrants- Def worth sticking around for 180th spot for $75 in an hours work.

Just curious what everyone's feelings are about the medal format?
Are the prizes anything that anyone is interested in?
I think the 5k ftp's is decent for store items, that's a months work at Iron level.
The $26 tokes can be had by anyone with a pulse on a Fri. nite for $8.8 in turbo sats.
I'm shooting for at least a $200 entry or the $300 package unless the vain side of me wins over to have a table created just for yours truly. Going to look into how long the table is avail for. First guess would be just the following month.

Personally I was planning on leaving FT for other avenues at this point, but for me, the medals may make it worth my while to marginally stick around... With the exception of taking funds from AP to join Brunson's joint to enjoy the company of FTRers in the private games if they're still going on.

BooyaKasha.
Of course I have bad days...
Sometimes I'll go a whole day without quads.

I don't think the medals really change anything - 1) I don't really care about freerolls and 2) Their "Medals store" is such a big ripoff, that it's pretty much a non-factor. I mean, 1600 medals for a cash bonus, which must then be cleared by playing MORE hands... Full Tilt has a reputation for being stingy, and this program doesn't change that. They need to up the ante on their Points store, because the PokerStars FPP Store kills it. I'm only sticking around for RB.
