I received an email from AP about a promotion for people using epassporte to deposit money so I had a quick look at the epassporte website. Apparently you can use it like a regular visa card (you can get a card that you can use at ATMs too). It looks like it might have potential. Anyone have experience using epassporte?

I have used epassporte for 8 months and have been very happy with it. Supper fast transactions. Only problem is that u can only transfer $500 bucks at a time unless u register 2 credit cards then its upped to 1000. Also not as many poker rooms accept epassporte as neteller I think.

I figured out the whole enchillada with ePassport. Here's the good:
  • Use it for special 10% bonuses at Party skins
Use it at CON casino to bypass their Neteller penalty
    Fast transaction to poker room
    Easily accessed account info
Use the online Visa number for online purchases, like Amazon books
Here's the bad:
  • Slooooooow EFT from bank
    Lower transaction limits.
Slightly slower from poker room to Epass
    'Load' transactions cost $$BANK$$

Here's how to avoid the transaction costs and up your limit using Neteller and poker rooms(takes time):
  • 'Load' your first deposit source {credit card?} but keep the transaction amount lower to keep transaction fees lower -- if you are in a hurry, just do the full $500, paying the full $35 load fee

Apply for ePassporte Select by finding a 2nd load source. Adding a 2nd load source will up your per transaction limit to $1000. EFT {bank electronic funds transfer} is cheaper, but slow. Again, smaller amounts cost less.

Deposit at an epass non-bonus gaming room, like Casino-on-Net or Pacific(?). We don't want to waste good EPASS bonuses with wimpy deposits, do we?

Add additional funds to the same gaming room from Neteller. Play a little, just to say thanks to the room.

Withdraw a full amount, hopefully an entire $1000, to ePassporte. You don't pay load fees for this type of transaction.
Now you are set with epassport 'Select', expanded to a full $1000 transaction limit, and hopefully having only paid $20-$30 in transaction fees. The five Party skins will still require emails to access any additional bonii over the automatic $50, but any additional EPASS bonus should cover the expense.

You can also pay an additional $35 for a real-life Visa debit card, so you can spend poker money in RL without clearing it through your bank. I have not done this yet, but it looks like an option for convenience.

EDIT 6/8 -- Empire has a $50 max ePass bonus. This site can be used for your first ePass bonus, then used to move Neteller $ into ePass. I suspect the 2 email/2deposit method is hit-&-miss, and that my one deposit method definitely missed.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Great info as always, eeeee.

Questions:

1) As I started to sign up for EPASS at their site, there's a box for a promotional code. Anything I can put here to make (or save) a buck? (This is at the epass site, not a gameroom)

2) So when I make a $1000 epass deposit at Party, they'll only credit $50 bonus until I email them to ask for a full $100?

3) What's the 2 email/2 Deposit thingy at Empire?

4) Are the bonuses automatic with your first epass deposit, or do I need to type in a promo code to get it?

Thanks!!

(You rock, eeeee)

I don't know about it, but I remember seeing it.

I've read here and elsewhere in some older threads that you had to make one deposit for the max $500 epass deposit, then make a second deposit and email for "the rest" of the bonus. Some of these reports were that many player did not receive the second fifty. My scheme was to bypass the email by making a single, previously unmentioned impossible $1000 epass deposit. The grande deposit did not work for me even once. No one gave me the second $50. My follow up emails to support also failed. So don't knock yourself out.

Type EPASS on all five (not Euro) skins.

I'm going to look into the epass promotional code.

I read some at BW about the EPASS thing, and see complete inconsistencies. Some are getting a full $100 at Empire. Others couldn't get the full $100 at Party? There doesn't seem to be any clear method. I dunno, at BW there are a lot of guys who seem to habitually email support to finagle bonuses, so perhaps it's just those individuals having trouble.

I probably will eat the $25 epass fee in order to make a deposit of $500 and take it straight to Empire first. I don't have a CON or Pacific account to move money from neteller to epass. Then I'll get 'select' and move $1k to Party.

thanks E.

I applied through Pacific-- I did not see a way to apply for the "select" upgrade where you add another load source.

How do you do this?

When you sign into the epass website, they have a gold colored SELECT logo/link. That's the way. Again, I had no luck in getting more than a $50 EPASS bonus at the Party skins, but it is still useful for CON.

I emailed Empire to ask what the '*Terms and Condions' of the Epass bonus are. They said $50 is the max.

Still working on getting the money moved, though. It is like walking through sand.
