its good that their bonuses are coming back into the realm of reality.

*sigh

I don't know ... has the action improved?
Also, I'd probably do it if tourney fees counted. Can't remember if they do on EP.

Just in case any of you don't already know this: A reload deposit made on Empire within 24 hours of a previous cashout will VOID the bonus. When I checked on my raked hands status, it showed "Elapsed" rather than the number of raked hands played. When I inquired about this problem they sent the following response.

"Dear Xxxx,

Thank you for contacting us.

I understand your concern but according to our records I see that, a bonus of
"PLAYNOV" for $100.00 was issued to your bonus account on 10-NOV-2005 however,
it was expired because we see that, you made a cashout on 10-NOV-2005.

We would like to inform you that, any player, who has made cash out within the
validity period of the bonus does not qualify for any bonus. This is a decision
taken by the management and has come into effect immediately. The reason why
the bonus has been expired is because you have made cash out.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused due to this. We appreciate your
understanding and cooperation in this regard.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

Funny how a man on a sinking ship can still be picky about the lifeboats and vests they want to wear.

I heard all you guys talk about the skins being rockfests and I figured - how bad can it be? It be bad alright! Unbelievable! You don't even need reads because every person plays the exact same way. I loosened up and bet at their weakness since nobody called any of my preflop raises. Barely any hands get raked either - less than 1/3. I played 4 tables for 3 hours and made $25, which isn't bad considering zero action. All my money was made on semi-bluffs and all out bluffs. Anyone with any lagg skills can just go in there and wipe these guys out. I tried it and I was out of my element but still pulled it off. Oh well, it's a little more work but still a free $100.

By the way - if I cash out $100 before clearing the bonus, will I get penalized like "UknowBetter". I want that money ready for the Party Reload.

I played a couple of hrs of 1/2 limit on 2 tables and it was pretty loose. 63% of hands raked hands and plenty of action. I wish I could have stayed longer but some of us have to work for a living Maybe I was just lucky with my table selection but I was hoping that things were starting to settle down after the split.

I played for about 1.5 hours last night. 3 tabled. All my tables had a VP$P of around 30%. If it wasn't for one table sucking out on me all night it would have been a good night. (this was $2/$4)

All 4 tables I was on were 25% VPI$IP or less at 25NL - most were below 20. I either got horrible tables or most of them are like that. Since the first 4 I sat at were like that, I figured they were all like that and it wasn't worth looking around for another.

Position bets and raises too.Def make sure you have some tight/scareds ahead of you or in the blinds and raise any Ace/PP/King-high suited if you're first in.

Those tables are loose on Empire? I just want to clear this and withdraw so I can have more money for any Party reload...which I assume will happen any day now. I don't play 6max, but if they get me raked hands quicker, I'll do it.

You can pray pokah and stop being a set farmer, and raked hands accumulate faster.

NL$100, 10max doesn't seem to have this problem.

R8ed, if you withdraw, I beleive you will lose your bonus. Leave your money in until you've cleared it.

I played some full ring for a while, but tight tables again with low rake. So, I got some balls and played some 6max. I played 3 tables at a time. I was up and down and up. I ended up making $36 in less than 45 minutes. Top pair (regardless of kicker) is gold to those guys I guess. Thanks for the suggestion - raked hands went up quicker. I'm waiting to get my bankroll higher (without the large variance) before I start pray pokah.

Finished PLAYNOV tonight;basically lost most of it due to my current downswing.I have to admit though the tables were looser then when the split first occurred(also played real quick on Multi, the tables there loosened up as well).

Now just gotta get ready to clear the Party reload he he.

What party reload? You think they'll still have one for this month?

party is starting to really suck. ie, stripping player points, making their bounuses less lucrative, harder to clear and more infrequent etc. and they never seem to improve their software, other than to add the hokey blackjack and side bets etc. i used to play there exclusively, but not any more.
