I think that Empire thinks they are smarter than us... which may be the case. If they say "No Deposit Necessary" but they know you have no money in there, then they are tricking you into depositing. Then you have to play 1000 hands for $50? That's 20x. Not worth it unless you can do that AND another bonus at the same time. Even then it's questionable.

Nice that they don't give you this information until AFTER you sign up. It is not in the terms and conditions as the raked hand requirement is account specific. Looking on other forums it appears that some are being offered 40x. ie) 2000 raked hands for $50.

Can't see any point in getting pissed about it. If you look back a few months all you got offered each month was a single $100 reload bonus per month (7x or 10x). In October alone there has been a $100 (x10) a $300 (x20) and now a $75 (x20). It will be interesting to see what November brings.

I didn't get an email but then again I never get their emails. I just entered my info via the link. I didn't have to actually sign up or anything to see this info.

I got the email, i've got cash at Empire so I'm working on the bonus now. I see no reason to turn free money down.

Very UN-George-like, George!

I believe we've arrived in a strange new world. 20x never daunted George before. Things have definitively changed across the Party-skins.

I didn't get the garbage email even though I had sucked it up and played PLAYOCT(which I of course lost during my losing streak). They are essentially offering a garbage 20x bonus screw that with the rock garden over there I'd rather take my chances with Party .50/1 and PokerStars .25/.50 without a bonus to clear.

I still can't see why you are all seeing this as a bad offer. If you don't have any cash then I may do, but why turn down free cash?
After 800 hands an a bad start I'm up $35 at .5/1 so add in the $50 soon 8bb/100 is as good as I'm going to get on Party or anywhere else.
Perhaps, I'm missing something?

ZILCH is the new GEORGE!!

20x was the max bonus I would do before the split. Now it's just too much for me. I'm passing on this one too.

At this point clearing Bodog would be better when there's no Party reload going on.

Yeah, things have changed. A 20x's bonus wouldn't have scared me in the past but I'm afraid it's not worth it anymore, at least not to me.

One reason is because I'm playing almost nothing but NL100 and NL200 lately. Another reason is because of the extremely tight play at the ex-Skins. It's hard for a camper to beat other campers...I've had some success playing a little more aggressively, winning lots of smaller pots...but it's not "fun" to play poker there. And lastly, when I was finishing up my Multipoker bonus I had a night where it took me TWO HOURS to clear 150 raked hands. Almost no hands were getting raked because people were checking the hands all the way down or everyone would fold if somebody bet. It was ridiculous.

Anyway...So yeah, I am no longer the king of whoring. Somebody else can have that job.

the empire bonuses are a joke. its bad enough that they pay out only 20 or 40x, but the quick expiry dates make them almost worthless.

They aren't being desperate, party poker is doing the same promotion.

I agree though, Empire is quickly dying.
