with all of the controversy lately with short stacking, ratholing, etc .. do you hate shorties? anyone ever think of starting a thread that outs short stackers/comments/hhs? would anyone find this useful?

FWIW, I basically stopped playing at PokerStars due to the difficulty of starting a new table without shorties flocking to my table.

i for one hate shortstackers. and any move by a poker site to make tables 50bb+ (preferably 100bb but thats probably unrealistic) min buyin has my vote. hopefully it will become a craze and before long the only traffic a site that allows short-stackers will get will be short-stackers. which obviously will be no traffic because short-stackers vs short stackers will soon realise they're just paying rake/wasting their time and that they need to learn how to do more than play preflop.

Arrrgggghhhh!

I just opened stars, and nearly every table at 5nl is covered by people witrh 40bb or less. I'd estimate like a min of 5 on each table.

Really frustrating.

Perhaps we can get a pettition going, send it to stars & threaten to boycott and move to FT.

I'm ready to sign!

How'd you find they compare?

As someone who recently switched, you should have a fresh perspective. And what stakes have you experienced there?

i dislike id say but dont really hate. ive seen A TON of the after moving to 25nl/50nl but from what I can tell most of them are terribad anyways. few actually win at it. its usually 20bbs at most u lose. if you can get stats on em u can usually figure out a good callin range. id say frustrating more than anything dunno.

Shorties, I can live with or rather deal with. But ratholers get my IRE!! More sites should deny sitting back down. Establish table stakes rules like brick casinos. Time limits to sit again. Of course they can always bounce around tables!! Whatta Ya Gonna Do??
What MUST be, most surely SHALL be!!

I hate Shorties also. I play at PS and its kinda my fault for not only playing 50 bb min tables. There are more fish at no 50bb min . I think its a part of the game and meh I have to deal with it. Now, Im not saying that I would not be thrilled if PS took the same approach FT did.
Pretty cool about Cake imo, wish they would have had that back when I grinded cake.
