Sorry if this has been covered already. I searched and couldn't find anything. Is there much of a difference between the 25NL at Stars & the 25NL at Party? I always here people say once you get 500 move to Party. Stars has a huge player base also though so it seems it would be just as fishy. Anyone knowledgeable on this? Thanks.

There's not much of a difference. Everyone sucks everywhere at 25NL. IMO, however, Bodog players are the sine qua non of low limit suckitude.

Lol thanks. I prefer to 8-table though so I guess Bodog is out.

Makes sense to me that PP would have fishier players at NL$25 just because those are the lowest stakes available. You can play at NL$10 for just a couple days there, right? Whereas at PS, you have both NL$5 and NL$10 to choose from (with no time restictions), so that's where all the newbies will often start.

In all honesty though, I wouldn't know, I'm not a ring player ... (or perhaps I should say, I'm a terrible ring player )

I can attest to both places sucking equally.

Thanks Nat. I'm just so used to Stars so it would be nice to stay put.

I'm also new to party, so it could be lots of things (small sample size or expectations from other people saying its fishy), but it seems like there's more tables with $15+ avg pots that have more big-time call stations and maniacs than I saw at PS. especially maniacs- i practically never see someone all in almost every hand on PS like i do lots of times on party. but its real hard for me to get used to the software.
