I'm getting bored with playing 4 tables at Party so I figured I'd open an account at Empire so I could play 5-6. I know they're skins of each other so I sent Empire an e-mail saying I have an existing account at Party, but would like an account at Empire too so I could play in their tournaments blah, blah, blah... This is the response I received from them.

Dear Stephen ,

Thank you for contacting us.

I completely understand your concern that you wish to have another account in our poker system. However, please note that recently we have deployed a new system check, which will allow only one account per person. This check has been created to prevent collusion at tables and provide you a better poker environment.

To prevent collusion, we have deployed a new check in our system, which will allow only one account per player. From the information you provided we believe that you currently have an account with another site that is supported by our poker platform. The site where you are trying to open an account is also supported by the same poker system and therefore creating of the 2nd account will not be allowed. We are very
sorry; you will not be able to create another account.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to assist you via email.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

I know several of you guys have accounts at both places. Did you encounter the same problem or did they just recently begin this rule? I tried signing up with a newly created e-mail address, but I still got a message saying I had an account. Perhaps they recognize my IP address? My IP address has changed since I initially opened my account at Party though so I'm at a loss as to how to open up an account with them. Any suggestions? If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

They have cookies on your computer and have planted keys in your registry.

The easiest way is to sign up on some one elses computer and then you can log in and play on your own computer.

Maybe use a library computer or something.

Hey there. I just signed up on this forum to find info on this because I am trying to do the same thing. Last night I was able to create a new account at Empire and everything seemed good at the time. I signed up on the same computer but with a different IP address and different email.
I was able to load the program and view tables etc. When I went to the deposit options IGM already had my checking account from Party, but said it needed to be verified.

Today I logged into Empire poker and clicked on the Deposit options again and this time I got a message saying they had detected I had an account at another site and couldn't have another real money account with them.

Must be something in the registry and cookies like you said, but I was confused that it let me set up the account in the first place and then later gave me that message. Before I installed successfully I tested it out by trying to create an account with the same email and I got denied. I guess I'll have to find another computer and try that out.

Does anyone know if I can use the same email address if I do this (I don't have any more currently besides the 2 I have used), or do they have some check on that as well?

To create my account at Empire I just ended up using a computer at school (educational purpose, right?). As for the e-mail address... just create a new one with yahoo, hotmail, etc. It takes about 3 mintes to set one up and it's free.

Thanks, that sounds like the best way to do it. I'll have to look around for some computers to use. Maybe the Library or Kinkos, but I am not sure if they will let me download anything there. I'll find one eventually though.

I signed up for both probably 4 months ago or so and everything went fine when I used seperate computers. What is odd though is I used iGM pay for empire and it found that I already had an account so I didnt have to go through the verification process or anything but it didn't stop me from using it as my deposit and cashout method. They didnt seem to care. This is good to know they may have changed it though cause I was planning on using my iGM account for another party skin but maybe I'll use a different deposit option now.

If I am not mistaken and I am reading this correctly...

I have an account at Party Poker and want one at Empire Poker, this means I have to create a whole new account for Empire using a different screename and have to go through the whole process again?

Thank you

Corey

Any help to my question above.

Ill try to explain better:

Have a Party Poker account and installed Empire Poker at work tried to log in using my Party Poker log in and pw but said I wasnt a member. This means I need to register as the same log in as Party Poker for Empire?

Im just a little confused and just need a little guidance. I have already looked at the page http://www.flopturnriver.com/empire-...nup-bonus.html and I still was confused.

Sorry and thanks for any help,

Corey

You need to register a different log in and password. They're the same online casino so does it make sense to have two "Coreys" playing in the same poker room through both Party and Empire at the same time?

Make a new account and register it with a different email.

I was able to register my Empire account on the same computer that I have Party installed on. I had not logged onto Party in the 30 days prior to my signup and it worked just like the writeup from Tyson said.

Actually I have an acct at all 5 of the party poker skin sites. All you need to do is not play at the sites you already have an acct at for 30 days. Then you can register at any of the other sites and play for real money on any and all of them. You just cannot play at the same table from different acct. (party poker and empire for example) their software will not allow this!

Hope this helps!
