I just made a $191 deposit at bodog.com and I am confused about how the bonus works. it seems that you play your bonus money first, then start using real money. the website made it sound like all you had to do was make wagers equal to your bonus dollars, and they would be unlocked. so I had a $38 bonus, played 38 $1 hands of blackjack. no it says my ecash is at about $242, but on the 'my account' screen, it still says my bonus account it $38 (with the $242 balance), on the casino screen, it says I have $242 in e-cash without any bonus. So I guess it's cleared, but betting $38 to unlock $38 just seems to easy. So if I wanted to withdrawl now, could I?

What you need to do is check your Bodog Poker Points. You need to have 3 times your bonus in bodog points. So if you got $38 in bonus you would need 114 bodog points to cash out.

If you dont know how many points you have, you can still request a payout, but you might receive an email saying you are ineligable.

ok cool. thanks. I'll try to see if there is a link on the website about points, and what would be the quickest way to earn them. So since it's a bottomless bonus, I've heard that they are strict on bonus whores, but If I were to play the money for a couple days, withdraw it, and come back next week and do it over again, would that work out fine? because if so, I think i've found a new favorite poker room the blackjack and the 5+0.25s aint to shabby either.

Just a heads up :

Bodog changed their points structure for tournaments. Now only 3 points are given for $1 in tournament fees. It used to be 6. So if you were to enter a $5/.50 SnG you would only get 1.5 points.

Deposit into Bodog once a month.Twice max,and try not to push that.Don't use Bodog to build your bankroll;only go there if you need a quick recovery from a prolonged losing streak or if you have some money you can set aside to be tied up there to clear.

Bodog has by far the worst players on the net, I'd suggest using it to build a bankroll.

I beleive Whoo means not to use (abuse) the BONUS to build your bankroll. Winning on the site to build your BR is another matter. If you abuse Bodog's bonus, they might 86 your account.

Worse yet, if lots of players abuse the bonus, Bodog will have to change their bonus terms and then everyone loses out.

I also jsut started playing at Bodog this weekend. I deposited (what for me is) a buttload (a little over $2,500) thinking they had the same bonus structure as most sites - i.e. your bonus goes into a separate account that is given to you in like $10 increments as you reach enough raked hands. My plan was then to keep a couple hundred in my "normal" account and withdraw a whole bunch back to Neteller. Whoops - turns out they take away your whole deposit if you request a payout without first getting 3 Bodog points for every bonus dollar. Let's jsut say I'm not even close to the 1500 bodog points I need. I still requested a payout (they seem to take a while to process them) and had my bonus nixed. The nice thing is that you get 20% every time you deposit, so just deposit in small sums and you are fine.

Tables are FISHY!!!
