Hi guys!
I've been reading this forums for a while but due to lack of experience refused to post. Anyway, I hope to get some feedback on this issue:
Recently opened an account on Absolute and deposited via VISA.
After a couple of games I realized, PokerOffice won't work, so I stopped playing for a couple of days.
One evening some guy with lets say not so decent english skills calls me and is asking me informations about my VISA like # and so on. Of course he claims to be AP staff.
I got suspicious and told him to better rip off somebody else and hung up the phone.
Then I went on trying to get my money out of my AP account and close it, which I was about to do anyway.
First thing I didn't like is you can not transfer back to VISA, which made me open an neteller-account.
Now after transfering to this neteller-acount AP is writing an email asking me to provide them with the following information to "secure my account status":
1. A scanned image of the any pictured ID. (which the any might they think of - sorry no go for official emailing in my opinion)
2. A scanned image of any Utility Bill (To confirm your billing address). 3. A scanned image of the front and back from the following credit card(s): xyxyxyx
I am wondering if anyone else knows procedures like these. Am quite pissed at the moment since I am used to pretty easy depositing/withdrwaing as on pacific or pokerroom using just VISA for almost a year now.
Final question to all other AP-players did everyone of you get through this process?
Thanks for ur comments,
Ismop

ive never had any problem cashing out of AP before through neteller or epassporte. That being said, im pretty sure some poker rooms ask for scanned ID and utility bill sometimes. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Not out of the ordinary. When you scan the credit card, photchop out the middle 8 digits of the card as well as the 3 digit security number on the back. Just draw a black line through the digital pic.
