I sent this to support at pokerstars, what do you think?

I think PokerProNN did nothing wrong but Tillotam obviously helped him, and hurt other players to do so.

Here's the letter:

Tournament 262131407

Near the end of a double or nothing five dollar sng - 6 players remain, 5 will cash for equal amounts.

Game # 4254698390

Player Tillotam raises Hero after he limped, knocking the big blind and Hero. The shortstack only had 20 chips and would not win more chips as the ante was more than that so he'd either be knocked out or win 120 chips.

The shortstack, PokerProNN, was was all in with his last 20 chips and had a better chance of surviving the hand if he only went against one player rather than three. Had Tillotam folded or called, PokerProNN would have faced the bb and Hero and Tillotam if he called. There was no reason for Tillotam to go all in with 98 off suit for more than 4k chips. Indeed, it made it more likely the game would continue as PokerProNN was much more likely to survive against one opponent rather than two or three.

I understand this isn't proof yet.

What happened next proves Tillotam's intent was to help PokerProNN survive the match.

The very next hand is the critical hand:

Game # 42546986791:

PokerProNN is all in for his last $60 (he split the main 120 chip pot with Tillotam). Tillotam raises all in again for more than 6k chips. This forces the small blind and the big blind to fold. On showdown Tillotam turns up 73 suited. PokerProNN wins the hand and wins 360 chips, enough it turns out to survive and win the sng.

Next hand is folded to the big blind. PokerProNN down to 280 chips.

2 hands later -- Game # 42547014130, when Player yaoxuedong has the big blind of $600, Tillotam raises him forcing that player to fold. Table tolds to Tillotam. PokerProNN down to 200 chips.

Next and last hand, Game # 42547022713, Tillotam has the big blind, yaoxuedong is all in with the ante and small blind, and Hero -- now down to 380 chips -- goes allin with QQ. PokerProNN has 120 chips left after the ante and folds.

Hero wins the hand, knocking out yaoxuedong and ending the DoN sng.

I think this is clear attempt of Tillotam to try to keep PokerProNN in the game. There was no reason to go heads up with PokerProNN in the first hand, he didn't have a strong hand and didn't need chips.

The same was true in the second hand. He had a weak hand to boot. All he accomplished was knocking out the two blinds who likely had better hands and were forced to fold to Tillotam's bet.

Pokerstars found no collusion.

The two players in question were both from Russia, and had only played together in one other tournament.

I'm happy to hear that. I suppose he coulda been mega multitabling and played sloppily as a result.

I don't know, I've made some pretty stupid moves like this before... misunderstanding the concepts of the strategy, moving all in to force out everyone else and go head-to-head with a severe short-stack who likely has anything.

Granted, I probably wouldn't have done it with 7-3, but I personally don't think this is suspicious. Just a bad player.
