I want to close my party account (wonder why ).

I mailed them and told them I wanted it closed because of security issues. They did as requested, but a couple of days after I've discovered that when I try to login to my old account, it says that my account is only "temporarily frozen". I wrote party again (twice!) and told them to fully close my account, and both times they've replied and told me that my account has already been permanently closed.

So my question is, if I want to make a new PP account to play on, is it good enough that my old account is "temporarily frozen" as stated? Or is it simply the same as a fully closed account?

I've read on 2+2 that you can open a new PP account and even use your old Neteller, but the deposit won't go through until you call Party and tell them what you're doing, because your old Neteller is still associated with your old PP account, even after you close it. I can't confirm this though...

Can anyone confirm me on whether my account is closed properly? I dont want to open up another account and then end up getting the account closed and my funds confiscated because I was having multiple accounts (because my old account only was "temporarily frozen" and not fully closed)

when i stopped at party for like a year, I went back to open another account - I hadn't used netteller but they had my address, bank account info, whatever - So as soon as I tried to cash out (because I thought I didn't have the bonus) they froze everything on me - HOWEVER, all i did was call them and tell them I hadn't played for awhile and wanted a new account - They helped me by closing my old account and letting me open the new one...even gave me the same $100 sign up bonus - You should be able to do it, then when the error message pops up, just call them - it worked for me...Now I just need to see if i can get it working again

ugh keep it simple peeps plz.

just tell them you dont want to play online poker anymore and plz can you shut my account.
then take ur money from neteller and close it, open up a new account, go to party and open a new acc up and then link the two together.

Problem solved. If you say 'im addicted to gambOOling' or some other bullshit story you WILL get pwned, party have done it b4.

I've read that neteller won't let you open a new account using the same bank account. Or did that work for you? I know that if you call them to request a new account (because your computer's been stolen or something), they won't do it for you, they'll just change your secure ID and password.

i talked with neteller chat about getting a new account number. they definitely made it seem like they didn't like it, but if you just start a new neteller account, you can contact them and have them transfer your old bank acct. info over to the new one. At least that was what i gathered from some chatting with them, I might ask them again before I do anything.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch
