The site opens up next month. (sept. 26) I have preregistered to take advantage of some of the promotions they are running. I don't know exactly what the software will be like but their webite is better then some others out right now. I guess this is supposed to be something 'revolutionary' for online poker.

No mention of rake structure. I'm waiting for the first site to give Party a run for their money via a better rake structure (either with a player cap or under 5%.)

For those of you who are preregistered on Check and Raise I thought I'd let you know of a way to get extra money if you aren't aware. The site opens up this sunday and they having something called 'hand of the week.' All you have to do is go to the website before the open for business and submit a memorable hand during your times playing poker. If they pick your hand you get $250. There are samples so you can read them and get a good understanding of what they are looking for. There is also a 'story for glory'. I forget what you win but I remember it being a pretty good prize. I really hope this site is a great as some people are making it out to be.

I just got an email - the opening of checknraise has been postponed to Oct. 23. The email also says that those that preregister before Sep 26th will receive a 60% bonus instead of the 40% advertised before.
I really hope their software doesn't suck.

Damn, I just got that e-mail too. I just cashed out my money from Stars so I could put it all into check n raise for the great bonus they were offering. I guess its back into stars.

Actually, I posted a thread about two weeks ago about the same topic. I thought this was just a continuation of my thread (I dont pay too much attention) ands that why I posted.
