In the next couple of days, I will be changing my e-mail address, so I've been visiting various websites to update my details. Most are straightforward, and just let you change it.

I can understand that certain sites like to validate the new e-mail address for security purposes, e.g. Poker Stars and FTR send an e-mail to the new address, and you have to click a link in the e-mail to verify it is your address.

Titan will not do this. I logged on with my user name and password, tried to change e-mail address, and got told to contact their technical support. I contacted them from the e-mail address I have registered with them, and got told that in order for them to update personal details, I need to send a copy of my passport via fax or e-mail.

Is it even safe to send this? I don't like to send all of my personal details over the net. It's not like I'm trying to withdraw $1 million, I only want my e-mail changed.

iPker has tons of sites, and depending on who your RB provider is you won't lose your VIP status moving to Poker Plex or another skin.

I may check a few of them out then, as the security at Titan seems a bit over the top.
