I think this should work for looking up NLHE vpp/hand in FR and 6m (only difference is in step 10)
1) Open HEM and click on the Cash Games tab so that it displays your stats.
2) Set the date so that you are looking at hands "After..." whatever range you want.
3) Click Filters drop down menu and select Edit.
4) Click the stakes you are interested in looking up and save.
5) Write down the number of hands which is the total number of hands at this stake during your time frame.
6) Go back to EDIT in the Filters drop down menu and click the last tab labeled "More Filters" i think
7) Scroll down and select "Players on Flop is Bigger than" and type in 1. (this seems silly but is the easiest way I can find to give the # of hands that saw a flop)
8) scroll WAY down to the bottom and select "# of BBs in the final Pot greater than..." and type in the 8 divided by the BB at your stake. e.g. for 50nl type in 16.. for 10nl type in 80, etc. Click Save and Close
9) Write down the number of hands (this is the number of hands in your sample for which you earned 1 vpp)
10) repeat steps 6-9, except delete your previous "Final Pot Size in BBs is Bigger Than..." filter and create a new one with the appropriate # of bbs such that the final pot would be greater than $60. (again like 60 bbs for 100nl or 30 bbs for 200nl). Save and Close. *** For 6m use the bbs for $40, since the 2nd vpp is calculated differently.
11) Write down the number of hands (which is the number of hands you received a 2nd vpp)
12) Add #9 (# hands w/ 1 vpp) and #11 (# of hands w/ 2 vpp) and divide by #5 (total # of hands played). This gives you your vpp/hand average over this sample. Ship that number to spoon.. especially if you play a steak that isn't listed on his calculator: http://spoonitnow.com/vpp_calc.php
GL.. and let me know if I f'ed this up...

I do have 1 question since u stopped answering in IRC: when you're adding #9 and #11 (for step 12), the result should be the total number of VPPs you've earned, right? I think I must've missed something, b/c my # of VPPs is almost exactly equal to #9.
