so on bonuswhores if it says that a certain bonus clears at $1 per hour at 25NL and it clears at $2 per hour at 50NL is it safe to assume one can handle twice the amount of points they could handle at 25NL if they move up to 50NL? so at poker room if i am comfy with getting 100 points per day (3000 points per month) at 25NL then will i be making 200 points per day once i move up to 50NL playing the same amount of time as before?

Hi Martin,

I would say that u dont get double points playing 50NL. 25NL and
especially PL has lot bigger avg.pot sizes in relation to buyin.

50Nl is a lot tighter and average pot-size is a lot lower than in
25NL. So I would say you clear about 140-160 pts in 50NL
compared to 100 pts in 25NL.

100NL is different thing completely, there is easy to find
tables with avg.pot sizes between 40-60 dollars. In those
tables its very easy to acquire a lot of player points.

T.

i'm beginning to think that i should just play 25nl and whore like a mofo until i'm rolled for 100nl since so many seem to think 100nl is softer than 50nl.

I have seen many people suggest that 50NL is a tougher scene than 100NL.
I am just about bankrolled to move up to 50NL but, like Martin, am starting to wonder if it is worth it. 25NL is very soft at Hold em Poker and I have been doing quite. Releasing bonuses is a pain though, it is just so slow.

I haven't played at PokerRoom in ages, but back when I cleared the bonus, you could only receive a max number of points per raked hand at 25NL. As you moved up in stakes that max cap was moved up, to the maximum amount of 2.1 points per hand. If this is still the case, you could def clear more points at 50NL.

The games are a bit tighter, so it's not quite 2x, but it's close.

i think the bonus actually clears 2.5x faster at 50NL. the rake is capped at 1$ rather than .50c.. so even though the avg pot is about the same, the rake/bonus clears much faster at 50nl

at 100NL im currently getting about 200pts/hr 8 tabling

i think i was getting 30pts/hr 8 tabling 25NL back in the day.

I'm averaging just over 20 points per hour 4 tabling at Hold em Poker. Takes a while to release a 1000 point bonus :P

I will move up to 50NL as soon as hit the 1000BR. Maybe this weekend, here's hoping...

How do you guys get around the 4-table max thing they have? Every time I get on more than 4 they shut the tables down for me.

Another question about PokerRoom. Are the points to acquire the initial deposit Bonus the same as required to do all further bonuses? That is, are all of the PokerRoom bonuses acquired by achieving points based on rake in the hand you're involved in, or do you acquire some Bonuses based points acquired by number of hands played like at Party? Thanks, and sorry if that's confusing.

join wait lists to get more than 4 tables. the points always work the same. it doesn't go by hands played.
