I haven't played a great deal online. But recently I signed up an account on Pacific. I got a 25% bonus for signing up, plus after 250 raked hands I will get a nice chipset, plus I can cash out my bonus. What I'm wondering is...how will I know when I've played enough hands? Do I get notification from Pacific? Will there be some indication within my account?

This sounds familiar to me

I did the same thing, I had to email pacific to get a hand count, but take a guess that your run 50 hands an hour. After you put 5 hours of table time in contact pacific support and ask them

So does a raked hand include hands in which you're not involved? I was assuming it only meant hands you'd actually seen a flop with and there had been a rake taken from.

Becareful, the 250 raked hands is probably just for getting the chip set, which is seperate from clearing the bonus.

Pacific policy is:

"All Bonuses may be Cashed Out only after an amount totaling no less than twenty (20) times* the Bonus amount received has been wagered (e.g., a $100 dollar Bonus must be wagered in a total amount equaling no less than $2,000). "
"All Bonuses must be wagered at Pacific Poker within three months of being credited to a Member's Account. Any Bonuses not used within this time period will be automatically revoked by Pacific Poker. Any promotional offers extended to Members (whether of bonuses or otherwise) must be claimed by the Member within three months of the date of notification of the offer."
