I just joined bodog, as I mainly play freerolls, I didn't deposit any money. But during the first tournament I entered, the screen kept freezing up and was acting like there were connection issues or some kind of malware on my computer. After this happened for roughly 5-7 hands and didn't seem to improve, I just went all-in so I could lose and get out of the dang thing. I was just wondering...has this happened to anyone else? I've never had this problem at any other poker sites. Thank you
Oh yeah, I'm a new member and this is my first post so thanks to everyone for letting me join this forum.

I had contacted them, and was just wondering if this had happened to anyone else. This morning they replied to me, telling me that if the problem wasn't with my physical connection to the Internet, it was with one of the many servers between them and me.

Poker Orifice is an unknown quantity at this point
I read a bunch of responses one of the Bodog staff wrote about it on another forum (Bodog Becky). I don't know the puter lingo but something about how the Bodog software uses up a ton more memory.
I too have never had problems on anyother sites (and play on half dozen of them regularly, with many tables up & running and all sorts of shite goin' on simultaneuously.. on a brand new laptop). Bodog messes with me big time as well (screen freeze ups etc.). It runs fine if it's running by itself (2tables) but with other sites going, I've learned to not bother playing on there if I'm planning on playing in some tournaments on other sites.... not wanting to risk it happening again (it happened ALOT of times).
AND... it's not just you & me...lol... many others share the same experiences with it. Apparently they're going to try to make upgrades to it in the new year (yah. ... ok).

I had trouble a year or more ago with there software. There support didn't even respond. After a few months they did a software upgrade and the problem went away. Don't play there much but when I do have had very little problems. Bodog and UB for that matter seem to use the most memory and or bandwith then most sites. If your on a slow internet connection that could be one of the problems.

I play at Bodog and have a ton of problems with with the software crashing on me. It is fairly common and a isuie that they are aware of and and working on.

If you go into Game Play Settings under preferences from the lobby screen you should turn off "Table Spotlight" and "Game Play animation".

I still use animation with no problem, but the spotlight was always a mess.
