Question for the Aussies. How do you withdraw from FT? I can deposit easily via Mastercard - but not allowed to withdraw that way. Moneybookers is a no go for me. Is there any direct banking option like Stars has?

1) deposit and withdrawal is easy via visa - that's what i use now, takes about a week for the money to reach my account

2) They do have a bank transfer option - not available to kiwis though - maybe oz? ask them:

Hello Daven,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

I'm sorry about the incorrect information sent to you earlier. At the moment Local Bank Transfer is not available to players from New Zealand. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you. Full Tilt Poker are looking into the possibility to add this in the future, but, unfortunately, I can't guarantee or give you a time frame on this.

The Withdrawal screen in the "Cashier" window allows you to view all of your available withdrawal options. These options are based on your payment processor and deposit history. For your security, we can only process withdrawals to a payment processor account if it has already been used to make a successful deposit on our site. Once you've deposited with a new payment processor, it will appear as a withdrawal option.

We also provide withdrawal by check. For further information on check withdrawals, please visit: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal.php

Feel free to check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of our website to see answers to a variety of commonly asked questions: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/about-faq

If the information you're looking for isn't in the FAQ, you're welcome to send us an email. We're always here to help.

Regards,

Svein

3) Neteller is an option, but then you have to get the money from them to oz. Their bank transfer isn't available for NZ, but may be for you? they also have a member wire facility, or you could get a neteller card to use at ATMs:

Hi, my name is Carrie. How may I help you? [11:43:48 PM]
daven optimistic: hi, I'm trying to figure out the best way to withdraw money from my neteller account [11:44:15 PM]
more optimism: Is the bank account withdrawal option available to New Zealanders? [11:44:35 PM]

daven explaining slowly, quoting their webpages: Members with Extended accounts in select countries can perform bank transfer withdrawals.

To make a bank transfer withdrawal, you will need to:

• Sign in to your NETELLER account
• Select the “Withdrawal” tab
• Click “Make Withdrawal Now”
• Select “Bank Transfer” as a withdrawal option and follow the steps

Bank transfer withdrawal fees are as follows: [11:45:42 PM]
daven - are you stupid?: i'm trying to find out if: [11:46:05 PM]
daven getting annoyed: a) I'm in one of these select countries [11:46:15 PM]
Carrie: Thank you. Yes, the bank withdrawal is open to New Zealand. I will put instructions here as to how you do it. [11:46:22 PM]
daven stoked: Cool! Thank you! [11:46:40 PM]
Carrie: You are not one of the select countries for a bank transfer, however a member wire is available to you. [11:46:43 PM]
Carrie: MemberWire is a withdrawal option wherein NETELLER wires money directly to your bank. It normally takes between 2-7 business days for you to receive the money once it has been sent, and there is a fee for this option.

To make a withdrawal using MemberWire, you must first send an email from the email address registered to your NETELLER ACCOUNT to MemberWire@neteller.com. Include your given name and your family name, your NETELLER account ID number, and the amount you want to withdraw. We can send the funds in EUR, GBP, or AUD only, so please specify which currency you want. If you are concerned about currency conversion, I can give you an estimate of what the conversion rate will be.

If this is your first MemberWire withdrawal, we also need you to send a copy of your bank statement. This is because we need this document to make sure your money gets to the right place. Please scan a recent bank statement (no more than three months old) and send it with your email. It must be a paper statement that was sent to you by the bank, not an online statement. It must be in colour, and it must show all four corners of the page. You are welcome to black out your balance and the transactions on your bank account, but we will need to see your bank account number and other such details. We only need this document the first time you make a MemberWire withdrawal, or if you make a withdrawal to a new bank account.

Thanks Daven - that is about the intelligence level I have been running into with FT support. They offer withdrawal by check - and then when pressed - tell you it is in USD and can be mailed only to a US address... useful.
I will examine Click2Pay and other offered options. After that - I may try and get someone to do a Stars / FT funds transfer with me...
