Are many of the real money sites out there not been audited? Which ones should one avoid? My brother talks a lot about someone having pockets everytime a flop shows a pair... or some silly thing like that...
Is this a common practice? Something to look out for? Should the auditors be audited? (As I'm sure many are)

All of them are audited, except Party Poker who really does rig it to generate action and increase their rake, because they feel like jeopardizing the gazillions of dollars they make just to make a few billion more.
Stick away from Party Poker until you have read Party Poker Cracked by Robert Eagle, it's an e book (just google Party Poker Cracked) and it is worth every penny, I have made over 4 million in play money myself, and it teaches you how to beat the PP card generator.

Seriously...and nicely.
Just play one of the sites the FTR endorses. They are reputable enough.
Don't buy into the "rigged" theory. It doesn't matter. EVEN IF IT IS RIGGED, MANY OF US ARE WINNING MONEY, SO THE ARGUMENT IS A WASTE OF BREATH. And there is a HUGE "sticky" thread you shouldn't even bother to read, but if you have to return to this unpopular topic, GO TO the sticky thread.

to the original poster - do you see a search button atop your screen?
do you further see a flaming sticky topic on the subject of whether poker sites are rigged not far below it?
are you so arrogant as to think that you should waste the time of poker players who make $$ every hour to answer your elementary, ignorant, silly, question with a serious and good natured answer (and clogging up the board with yet ANOTHER 'is Online Poker rigged post')?
There are some people like eeeee who have it in their benevolent hearts to help all people no matter how stupid. I have for him the utmost respect. But for the rest of us mere mortals, let me say this:

Boy FTR has changed in the short time since I joined.
FTR used to pride itself on how much 'friendlier' this site is than 2+2.
Admin used to lock threads like this, not move them to another area for a propper flaming.
Admin used to insist on friendliness and helpfulness in the forums.
