New poker room coming up. Pokerchamp.

It's got Gus Hansen as their spokesman. I've been around and it looks pretty standard. They are accepting pre-registering. But I didn't see any information about when they would open.

The only new thing they offer is nice multi-tabling.

A unique feature of Pokerchamps is that you can play at four hands simultaneously on a single screen. You can select OneScreen, EnlargedScreen, DuoScreen or FourScreen windows. PokerChamps is the only Internet poker room in the world that offers players this facility.
Anyone else heard of this yet? I'm interested. it doesn't seem like it's getting that big of an intro. Not like Check n Raise.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

No I havent heard of it but it sounds like it could pretty good just for the multitabling aspect if nothing else.

I've been on poker champs for a few months.
the software is "ok" It seems to load a bit slow and takes a few more beef to run than party poker, but much less than interpoker.

to Multi table seems difficult for me on their site. It doesn't make a big announcement when you have options at both tables, so its possible to miss a hand.

Also to 4 table you need to run your screen at a minimum of 1152x864. That is higher than the 1024x768 that 80% of people run.

Right now they are running free-rolls and stuff, I'm not sure if you can signup with real money yet. The competition there seemed pretty decent in the few free rolls I played.

The free rolls give away real money, so that when the site does open you can start with $$$

oh my god you are so right! check n raise really does suck!!!
i tried the beta, and well i wasn't all that impressed. the interface was ugly and slow. it's written in java, it doesn't matter how much optimizing they do it will still take a shitload of time to load on slow computers.

and as for multitabling, all the prima poker network skins have had "multitabling" features for a while. their miniview allow you to easily fit 4 tables on a 1024x768 screen. on my 1280x1024 screen i can almost fit 6 of them with minimal overlapping. the only downside is that it's only for holdem.
