Absolute used to award 1 ARP per hand that was raked $0.25 or more.

Apparently, they are now awarding 1 ARP per hand that is raked $0.25 or more in ring games $2/$4 limit or less, but 2 ARP's per hand that is raked $0.25 or more in $3/$6 limit or higher. I found this in the answer to a FAQ, but have yet to verify.

On the downside, they no longer award ARP's for deposits.

Never mind. Apparently the points computed for bonuses are different from ARP's. I played a few hands of $3/$6 to check this out, and I determined that the points for clearing the bonus were only incrementing by 1 while the ARP's were incrementing by 2. I was hoping it would make the bonuses a little easier to clear.

It's very confusing. Other sites like PokerStars and UB that use points systems don't differentiate.
