So Absolute is running a 200% up to $200 initial deposit bonus that I recently took advantage of....
Wow, does (has) anyone tried playing text book SSH at the .5-1 or 1-2 full ring over here profitably? Any secrets you can share?
$200 in bonus sounds nice, but I'm gonna need to play like 5,000 hands to clear it. Thinking this is a waste of time and I should stick with Party. Thoughts?

ABS is a bit weak tight playing of a $350 bonus right now... but i do it a 1/2 6max, 2/4 full and 2/4 6 max... i'm not sure which would go faster...

Absolute is very rocky. Just find the loosest/largest avg. pot tables you can and it should clear decently fast.
On another note, it's sad that 10x reload bonuses are becoming the new "good standard" as opposed to party (and others) 7x reloads...
The only site I regularily play at for a great bonus is Bet365 (prima site). They have a monthly $100 bonus (no deposit needed) per 500 raked hands, very awesome. *zap*

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I play NL on absolute and it clears decently. The key to playing here is getting rakeback. The rackback doesent offset the bonus, so to me its always worth keeping some bonus money available here. I usually keep one table open here on the six I play.

I'd try out Absolute but I'm still working on SHAW and then LANCEY;and by that time the next Party reload will be out anyways.

I did the 200% initial bonus, and it's clearing like a breeze. I think I have $80 left to clear, but I'm really not trying that hard. I pop on and play a couple NL tables for three hours or so once or twice a week.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

that's twice I've heard that advice... what limit $25? I imagine each pot clears the .25 rake?
the .5-1 limit games are total rock gardens and I need to play like 4 hands for one to reach the .25cent rake minimum.
I've never played NL cash ring before, although I'm doing my best to study up around the forums. Hopefully my sound limit games will keep me afloat.

That itself is half the battle.Tight games do not necessarily mean you can start playing hands out of position(as I learned the hard way during PLAYSEP).

clear that bonus at 6 max anything above 50nl on ap
ive cleared mine, managed to get the weekend off uni work and the flat mate off his laptop.
Who said absolute was a rockfest? Ive been upto (but not currently at) 100nl full/6 max and i didnt find too many rocks who didnt wanted to play with my semi-loose table image.
