PS Just added "Instant Hand Histories"

Click on the game # in the top left corner of a game window or go to "Requests: Instant Hand History".

It's neat - Real time hand histories..

Check it out.

That's EXACTLY what you can do now -

Set your hand history to be like 20,000 days in the instant hand thing.. They will get stored locally. Go to options from the hand tracker.

I do like this Instant Hand History thing though, because now, like I can on PartyPoker, I can check to see what cards players MUCK in a showdown, and therefore attain better reads.

There is a new PokerTracker add on for Pacific Poker hand hx., if anyone is interested. Check out PT site for patch and instructions. Requires another piece of software to get the hand hx. from Pacific.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Rippy isn't one for statistics and numbers on poker play.

He just likes to PLAY. And that's how I feel too

I agree in part, but when I'm running bad (as often happens), it is by far the biggest help to me in figuring out what the hell I'm doing wrong that is causing me to lose - more often than not it's not bad luck as much as bad table or starting hand selection.

I am a stats master, almost spending way too much time analyzing stats.

Recently though, using all my mathematical superiority has somehow wrecked me. I have dumped about $600 this week between Party and Empire, while going crazy analyzing everyones stats the entire time. It was very frustrating to be up against 5 fish at a table, and unble to beat any of them. I never lose $600 in a week and I was steamed about it.

I had to say "Screw the Stats". I turned off all the calculators, all the trackers, and all the other gadgets I use and used the "Old Noggin" for a change. Well it worked out well. My first tourny I placed 4th out of 102, and the next tourny I placed 1st out of 53. O Yeah, I left Party and Empire, and went elsewhere.

While my instincts are ferocious, and will win me many tourny's in the future, I still believe that having access to stats is an insanely unfair advantage. Here's a prime example..

While this hand did not make me a single penny, you'll see it surely saved my ass because I paid attention to the stats.

NO LIMIT CASH Game. $100 buy in.

$$$$ I'm chillen on the button with AJ sooted (spades.)

A guy in early position makes it $5 preflop to go... The guy behind him calls the bet.

Under any normal cirmustances, I'll give the flop a shot for $5 no problem with my hand. Well this was not a normal circumstance. I noticed that the original raiser (in early pos.) hardly, barely never, ever raises preflop in the previous 2500 hands. I had a bad feeling with him raising, and especially the other caller even with my good position.

I folded.............and the flop hit A J 4 (Rainbow)

As you can see, I was about to get wrecked here had I stayed in the hand. The original raiser ended up demolishing the other caller with his
AA, and probably would of done the same to me had I called the measly $5 to see a flop.

Stats, yes they can get in the way and even prohibit your natural ability to play. But, I have a hard time not pegging every player at the table for his consistent tendencies. Post Flop Aggresion Stats kick some serious tail....... especially in higher LIMIT Games.
