The free weekly men's magazine ShortList is running a multi-week "advertorial" in connection with Ladbrokes starting today which will hopefully drive some first-timers and curious occasional home gamers to the site's microlimit tables for the next month or so.

Beginning next week they'll start offering proper tips from an expert apparently but this week leads out with "Hold'em is fairly simple and, once a few basic rules are mastered, anyone can have a flutter"

For EU people looking to grind a bankroll at the low limits (sorry US people, I don't think Ladbrokes is available for you unfortunately) it might be worth a look for the next few weeks if this marketing drive proves to be successful. I think I have a few uncashed tournament winnings on the site still so I'll take a peek at the tables over the next few days and report back on how fishy they are. I doubt it's going to be old school Party type fishy but as long as there's a one million circulation magazine telling people on their front cover that "anyone can play poker", you've got to think it's worth a look, heh.
