Opponent is the table action. He's got around $1400, my white chips alone cover.
Oppponent opens from early middle position or so for $40. His usual MO is limping so I really should put him on a hand here but I'm kinda bored and I know he'll stack off stupid and miss trivial value bets so I call with :Ad: :Jh: from the CO. Rest of the table folds.
$90 in the pot, heads-up.
:Js: :Jh: :Ts:
Opponent checks
I bet $60
Opponent re-raises to $120
I pull back my yellow and replace them with four white.
"I guess you have the nuts, huh?" "I'm all-in"
I fist-pump-snap-call!
QQ doesn't get any help.

I love how he didn't even bother to justify his push by putting me on a draw

Villain suffers from "I don't want to lay down pocket queens syndrome". Symptoms include cursing one's bad luck, random shouts of "but I had the best hand pre-flop!", and a lightening of the wallet.

Yellow and white?
huhwhat?
Everywhere I've played, white or blue is $1 and yellow is $2. Can I assume that in Cali it's white=$100, yellow=$5?

Check out my self-deprecation here!

You can very much assume that.
This is as close to standard as California gets:
50 cents: orange, usually a deliberately low quality chip with little artwork on it.
$1: blue
$2: green
$3: sometimes orange, sometimes different shade of green with orange trim
$5: yellow
$10: depends on the casino, sometimes yellow with brown trim, sometimes brown
$20: not every casino has these, but they are usually either black or yellow and black
$25: again, not every casino has these, but they are usually purple
$100: white and oversize
$500: gray

$3 chips are often called the Pink Chip game (9/18 Commerce) unless they've changed chips since I've been there.
The Pink chip game has been epically good at times.

The $3 chips at Commerce are orange and made of clay (which I love) rather than plastic.

The only $3 game I've played is the 1/3 at Wynn while waiting for a 2/5 seat. The $3 chips were pink. At woods, mohegan, and the few casinos I've seen in Vegas, the colors are as follows:
$1 White
$2 yellow
$2.50 (BJ) pink
$5 red
$10 gray or blue
$25 green
$100 black
$500 purple or orange
Woods just added grays a couple of months ago, and trying to count someone's chips from across the table got a lot more difficult.

Yeah, those are Vegas colors (although Blue is still a common $1 chip color.)
Ocean's 11 has those colors as well.
