Our local casino pays 100.00 for the first five Aces that are cracked. Live 1/3 last night and the casino was crowded so my wife and I were sat at the same table.
I was BB and I looked down at AA. I raised to 15.00 and she and two others called. The plop was 5c-9h-10s. I bet out 15.00 and she and one other called. The turn was Jd and I bet 20.00 and she called and the other player folded. Heads up we just checked the river. I turned over my Aces and she had trip 5's to crack my aces. We picked up the 45.00 from the three players plus the 100.00 for the cracked Aces. Not a fortune but a nice little start to a great night.
Many times in 1/3 when the Aces are cracked you can lose money not like 3-6 Limit where the pots are not that big.
I remember one night when I had AA and I bet out and one player called every bet. There was nothing scary on the board so I put him on KK or QQ in the pocketand bet 20.00 on the flop. On the turn I bet 65.00 and he called. The river was a J. I went all in on the river and he called. He had pocket JJ.s. He followed me all the way with Jacks I lost about 145.00 but the cracked Acesat least paid me back 100.00. You would never get a pot like that in 3-6 Limit.

When someone posts a hand and how they played it it is open for discussion.
Many times the betting cycle can look weird but you have to remember that person was at the table and was looking the person in the eye. He might have ssen him fo;d to 3x the BB and raise on a bet of 10 x the BB. There could be instances where you are just feeling out the other players and trying to get a read on them.
I have read where its always good to see the flop as cheap as possible.. Is this wrong. There are times you want action and times you dont. These are the things that you cant see on a post.

Learn how to bet. No wonder you lose with aces.
