I have a problem when I was lving in columbus ohio I was playing every homegame I could find and was either winning or placing in the money 65 percent of the time, now since I have moved to houston texas I only have like 1 cash out of 15 homegames I've played in. The problem is now I am a way better poker player then I was making solid reads good decsions but I'm not winning what is wrong with me?

You are either getting too cocky now you are better.
Or you are playing against better players
Or you are getting unlucky with cards.
Or you were lucky before and have just evened out.
Its kind of difficult to say which with the information youve given but i dont think its unreasonable to have a run of good/ bad luck with your cards lasting this long

well the skill level of players was better when I was in ohio I played weak tight pretty much. Since I came to houston texas there are like 4 tough oponents I play against regularly but we play against other players who seem to don't care and make loose calls and get lucky. I am a way better player now in the fact that i play position well and I'm more aggressive and I'm a deep thinking of the game now then how i use to be. Out of the 15 homegames i've played probably 4 of the loses were my fault bad reads bad decsions.
I guess I'm just on a bad run I only play 10-20 dollar buy-in maybe I should find like a higher stakes homegame where play is more intelligent like 100 dollar buy in or something, because I can play good against good players.

Unless you wanna play at the higher stakes you mention to make more money (if you can beat that game) prefer to play against worse opponents.
There is no such thing as "I play/do better against better players". Do you see why?

well I didn't actually mean to say that what I meant was I play very good against good players because I usually know where there at in a hand but when playing against bad players they usually will call u with anything and will crack ur big hands with any two cards plus bad players don't really take the game that serious.

Ever heard of Ohio Hold em? NO! You're are losing because you're in TEXAS HOLDEM LAND! Johnny Chan is from Houston!
I'm just kidding. Homegames can get maybe 20 hands an hour. I've just played 3,560 hands of the most frustrating break even poker of my life.
I wouldn't be too concerned. Play online.

Lets say you have AA and the other guy has "any two cards" (you are around 85% favorite to win the hand). If you theoretically KNOW when you are beat and dont pay him off (no implied odds for him) you take his money 85% of the time, while he takes yours 15% of the time. This is profitable. Know/learn when to fold a hand.

Make sure the game is on the up and up .... learn about how hustlers work local games.....At least in a private game you stand of chance of seeing if someone is cheating you.... you can't see bits in Cyberspace (ie. the use of Poker Bots).
Bottom line, if you are in low to middle stakes games the odds of finding a really good mechanic are slim...they will only hit high stakes games....But, education is your best defense.
