I was playing at a live tournament last night. At the table behind me sat my friend. I only heard a guy say, "Well... I've already put this much in. I guess I'll go all in."

I really wanted to turn around and tell my friend, "If you don't have the nuts, fold." In fact, the only reason I didn't is because I knew that there would be a lot of people mad at me if I helped out my friend.

My friend didn't fold, he didn't have the nuts, and he lost the hand.

I'm picking up all kinds of these things. It's getting fun, because I'm starting to pay attention to a lot more attention to everything. And I'm finding that the tells I see are mostly correct.

I have to give due credit to this forum. It's because of all the posts I've read here that I can see how much better I am getting at picking up on this stuff.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I had a similar situation in a live game too. I had a flush draw, he had a straight draw. Luckily on the river he hit his straight and I hit my flush. He went all in and claimed, "well, I better get going" (As he thrust all his chips into the center of the table. I called with my flush and said, "Ok, seeya man." He was very pissed off!
