It would be sinful for any player to not play here at least once per visit to sincity. IMHO its the nicest room in town, with top notch decor and lots of space between tables.

It has a good mix of action with tourists and locals, not to many pros
Limit games go from 3/6 up to 9/18, then skip to 40/80 for some reason
No limit goes from 1/2 $200 up to 5/10 no-max
There are SnGs from $70 up to $150
And they even spread mixed games, where the game changes every 8 hands and the players choose the games, as low as 6/12. These seem to start around 7pm tho, and I work at 9pm

To top it all off, for the opening they are giving $3/hr food comps and a house-funded badbeat jackpot. Im not sure how long these added bonuses will go.
Is that guy still part of the forum??

It's definitely a nice room - I swung by there last Friday and decided to play some 3/6 limit when I was waiting for a lunch appointment at Pinot. I'm not big on Venetian at all - I hate their casino floor becuase it feels cramped, their comps stink compared to even a place like Bellagio (makes me wonder who Venetian thinks it is, really), and on weekends it is invaded by Californians which cramps up the floor even more and makes parking terrible. But they've definitely done a good job with the poker room.

I didn't notice the bad beat jackpot but they were still offering $3/hr food comps. Not that that will get you very far in Venetian
