I'm pretty sure i lost value in atleast one spot here.
1/2 No limit game (live)

Im in the BB with about 800$
8 limps, call and I check with 9 7

The flop is 775, I check,
MP1 bets $10 (and has 300$ behind, is half decent)
MP2 calls (also has about $300 behind and is a total donk)
I just call.

Turn ($50) is another 5
I check and they both check

River is a 4 and i bet out for 35$
MP1 calls, and MP2 raises to 85$

Should I raise here? IF I call I am pretty sure MP1 will call. I am pretty sure mp2 is betting a real hand here. If I raise big, wont i only be called by bigger hands or the same hand?

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
As played I think you should just call and go for the overcall.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Bet the flop please. Stop playing limp flops like a total donk.

River is an easy flat because a re-raise will just isolate the guy you're chopping with.

I agree, why check the flop? throw out a little something at least.

yes, a big reraise on the river you are asking to be called by hands that can only beat you.

My usual strategy is to bet out flops like these but for some reason I checked. I guess I was on such a heater that I figured I would mix up my play a bit.

What happened is I called and MP1 called and showed a straight. Mp2 had 44 for a lower full house. It turns out he was constantly overvaluing really bad hands on the river. I am still not sure if he would have called a big raise but it is possible after seeing him play a bit longer. I took all of his money later anyways

Hands that can beat you? You mean quad 5's?

It's not that you're only going to be called by hands that can beat you. It's as Fnord said - a raise here likely just isolates whoever also has a 7.

I know, I was talking about for future reference... not just this hand.
