Alright I have two questions that seem to be the only things that I really struggle with. I only play live games so this doesn't really apply to online.
First Question: I seem to have a rather large problem with tilting. Quite often I will steadily and sometimes rapidly win and keep adding to my bankroll and then just like that in one night, for some reason, I'll enter the game in a bad mood and then it seems that I take bad beats only on that night and I lose everything I had won and then some. So the question is: How do I avoid going on tilt?
Second Question: For the most part I'm an instinct player and I act quickly on my desicions and reads, but lately I've been realizing that if I had taken the proper amount of time to think about it I would have discovered what I should have done. Is it better to instaneously make yur desicion or to wait and really think about it? I know some pros like tkaing the exact same amount of time before deciding so it's harder to read them by them amount of time they take.
Thanks.

1) Don't play when you're in a bad mood, its -EV
2) Obviously calling small bets/raises shouldn't take you much time, but on anything even semi-big try to sit back for a moment and give it a moments thought at least. Don't over analyze though

1. i used to have this problem:
just sit back and relax. realize that even if you made the right play, you cant win them all. Even if you have AA and the other guy had KK every hand forever, you would still lose 20% of the time.
If you have a string of bad beats, or you feel you arent playing well, just take a break. ten minutes away from a table can make a world of a difference.
Do not over extend your bankroll - play at limits where you know that if you lost an entire buy in, it would not be a big hit.
2. Read up on statistics - overs vs pair preflop, straight draws, flush, etc. To be a good player, you need a solid combination of statistical knowledge and instinct or the ability to read people. Check out doyles book or dan harrington's.
