 If you have any information on playing no-limit hold 'em in Tunica, I'd be interested in some input. I recently went a couple of months ago and played @ the Hollywood casino. I actually showed up way too early before the $1/$2 game started. It was a Saturday and there was a no limit tournament that started @ 2:00 PM and my cash game started about an hour after that @ 3:00 PM when most of the tournament players had busted out. The competition seemed pretty average - two or three players seemed pretty clueless, two or three seemed competent but definitely exploitable, and there were a couple of decent players who may have been regulars. I bought in for the $200 max, played for a few hours, and cashed out $401, which was the most on the table.

I'm interested to know what other casinos in Tunica have no limit, what stakes, how early and late do the games start on weekends and weekdays, how's the competition, and any other helpful information like that would be most appreciated.

 I played at the Gold Strike in Tunica about 4 1/2 years ago and it was a complete and total fishfest. I was playing limit back then, but I'm sure there is plenty of NL since that's all any casino seems to spread nowadays.

I really liked the Gold Strike. They had free hot dogs, free drinks, and generous comps. After 12 hours of play (midnight to noon), I had earned a free buffet lunch (which was delicious) and qualified for a $25 hotel room rate.

I'm sure you will have a fine time in Tunica.
