The table has been pretty tight and weak for a few rounds but one guy 3 to my right has been raising almost every other hand for the last round to 10 dollars preflop, causing a fairly typical response of 3 or 4 or more callers. It seems like he is just trying to create some large pots. Most players are just trying to hit flops and there is no 3 betting going on unless players have aces.
The action is as follows
Hero is on the Button with 200$ dealt TT
3 players limp and the guy who always raises 10 dollars does so. I assume he has any 2 broadways and any pair 77's or better. If he had a really strong hand he would raise more to isolate (i think). 2 players call his bet and I have a decision.
I think that I have the best hand right now so I want to raise. The problem is that these players are really stubborn and don't like to fold. When overcards come I'm in a tough spot and this happens regularly. If I 3bet it has to be very large, probably 40-50 dollars or more. It is possible that one of the other callers has something like JJ,QQ, AK since they are both weak players.
If I just call I know all 3 other limpers will call and I will be in a pot with 7 players, just looking for a set of a dry board with undercards.
I guess my main question is whether or not to reraise in position with hands like TT and JJ in weak games. It seems like nobody has much of a hand here, but I can never really put them on a hand because they raise with KT and only call with QQ.
Should I just try to hit cheap flops in weak games and then just value bet?

His range is far wider than 77+ and broadways.
I would re-raise to $70 and ship the rest in on just about any flop. If he shoves insta-call.
You'd be surprised how often it's not heads-up to the flop when you do this.

paying $10 to set hunt could be profitable if the stacks are big and the players are loose.
but generally i go for the pot raise to take it down or get hu. if you have a tight image, you can get respect even in a loose game.

A call here is weak. You don't want that many people to see a flop. Better to fold IMO.
Raise it up AT LEAST to 50, but I like Fnord's bet of 70 too. Show some strength and you'll be able to work this guy.

While a call might be weak a fold is in no way better than a call.
Raise > call > fold

i would just call. the odds on you hitting your set are 1/8. and you're getting 1/7 on your money if you're right by thinking you're getting 3 more limpers. although there is one guy playing crazy there is still two other people in the pot who could be just as crazy. maybe even a tight player just calling with AK, it depends on the game and the players at the table. its really just your judgement if you think you can push em off with a big preflop raise then go for it, if you think you're going to end up with 2 or more callers reguardless then flat call and hop to hit. It could pay out huge and only for 10$

holy shit that was some seriously bad advice
Raise to 50 and expect everyone to fold most of the time and scoop 20 bucks. If not you have a strong hand to go heads up with the original raiser who is probably more than willing to stack off with top pair.

Raise it up. If you're sure your opponent has JJ QQ KK or AA then you're a great reader of people. Rare am I ever able to make this kind of preflop read. Do everything you can to win the pot you're involved in...
I'd call if this were a full ring game.

He's got god-knows-what and wants to gamble. You have Tens. Raise it up and gamble with him. That's what this game is all about.

im guessing you plan on playing for a while and dont want a coinflip decision for youre $200...i would call here it is not worth risking 1/4 (or more) of ure stack on a very decent chance they have a better hand then you...im all for being aggresive but not stupid...ure getting odds on ure money...call and hope to hit a set OR...if it is a low board and looks safe make a decent bet and take it on the flop..
