I live in MN and mostly go to Running Aces, and sadly the best games that run there are 3/6 kill (4/8 is nonexistant), and then all these spread games: 2-10, 2-60, 4-20, and even 5-60.

From what I hear, the spread games are probably better than the limit games and I've played a little 2-10 and it seemed pretty soft.

Any thoughts on strategy adjustments from regular limit? For the 2-60 the max buyin is $200, should I start out with a 1/2 buyin of $100, an employ a short stack strategy similar to no-limit, or is there a strong reason to do a full buyin every time?

I'm pretty much done playing the 3/6, its been a good learning experience, but the rake sucks... any thoughts greatly appreciated as I can't find anything on the net about spread limit.

I also play at Running aces and I try to stay the hell away from anything below 3-6 kill as people will run you down alot more. 2-10 spread is a great game when you have a fairly tighter/conservative table. And 2-60 is by far the best since you can REALLY protect your premium hands. And 4-20 spread is the most hyper aggressive game I've ever played in.
