Anyone who has been to Vegas or Atlantic city knows one thing: paying for hotel/food/gas/parking/taxis SUCKS. Every time I've gone, my profits are cut by these costs. So I thought why not get a couple guys in the local game to all go together? Regularly even?

advantages:
- split costs tremendously, more profitable sessions
- pretty easy to get a bunch of gamblers to want to go to a casino
- not traveling alone with a damn wad of money.
- carpool, and switching up driving vehicles.

possible disadvantages:
- having to listen to bad beat stories from them
- there's only about 2 other winning players in this group. If the others bust out early they may be miserable to be around.
- not too worried about them stealing money while asleep etc, but i guess that possibility exists.
- if they lose too much, they might stop showing up to the regular game.

It might be weird, as i'm only really friendly with 2 of the guys. The rest seem like normal fellows but I just don't know them. This coming weekend though we should have a group of about 4 of us heading out

ya it's still up in the air. I wouldn't go with more than 3 others just for ease of travel.

the 2 i'm slightly friends with are not the winning players, but they do like to gamble. One guy is kind of a rich kid it seems, and he tilts terribly. The other is gay (literally), but he's nice and likes to go to AC anyways.

that's probably what will end up happening, us 3(maybe one more guy) going and splitting a room.
