Anyone have any details on the Taj (AC) 1/2 NL game? I'm playing it tomorrow, assuming I sneak in safely. Also, where is the poker room? Wandering around the floor aimlessly seems like a sure fire way to get myself busted.
Anyway, if you see a kid in an Audioslave hat at the tables tomorrow, say hi.

Sneaking in? I assume you are under 21.
Lots of the AC casinos require Poker Club cards in order to play. You must have a state issue id in order to get one of these cards. Hope you got in ok. If you saw a douchebag wandering around in a bon jovi t-shirt with an old school mullet on saturday, that wasn't me.

I thought the poker club card was just for comps. I'm 6 months away from 21, but I sat at 1/2 NL at the Trop. No problems until I got up and started walking around.

They all know me as a small timer, but that's about to change.

I played at the Taj this weekend and they do not require anybody to get a Taj Card to play. It is strictly for comps.
I'm a young looking guy and I have never been carded going into a casino in A.C. There was some kid at my $2/$4 table on Sunday who must have been 18 y.o. It was clearly his first time playing poker in a casino (he accidentally raised his blind post, etc.) and he blew out his entire stack in about 20 minutes. Poor baby.

Last time I was up there they asked to see my card to get put on the waiting list. Just letting you know what has happened to me.
And to get in a tournament you will need the card too.
